Old India Kashmiri Chilli Powder 100g

I recently purchased this chilli powder, and I must say it's a splendid addition to my spice rack. It offers a perfect balance of heat and vibrant colour, which is great for my homemade curries. The 750g pack is quite economical, especially compared to smaller jars from the supermarket. I’ve found it retains its freshness well when stored in airtight containers or clipped bags. The flavour is lovely and strong, making it ideal for various dishes from stews to marinades. However, it can be a bit intense if you're not used to such heat, so I recommend using it sparingly at first. On the plus side, the delivery was prompt, which is always a bonus. Overall, it's a fantastic product for anyone who enjoys cooking with a bit of spice. A definite recommendation for any spice enthusiast!

Good taste

I used this in a butter paneer dish and it worked really well. It gave the curry a bright, vibrant colour and blended in easily thanks to the fine powder texture. It seemed fresh when opened and had a good flavour. The heat level was slightly stronger than some other Kashmiri chilli powders I’ve used, but still very enjoyable. Good value for the amount you get, and overall I was pleased with the quality. The only thing I’d improve is the bag isn’t resealable, so you’ll need to transfer it to a container or clip it closed after opening. I would happily buy this again.
