I decided to try the Coop Home Goods Cooling Pillowcase because I’m one of those people who’s constantly flipping their pillow to find the “cool side.” Let me tell you—this pillowcase has completely changed the game. First off, it actually does what it claims. The fabric feels cool to the touch, almost like it’s been sitting in a chilled room, even if the rest of the bed isn’t particularly cold. I was skeptical at first, but it genuinely helps keep me comfortable through the night, especially during warmer months. What surprised me most was how soft it is. A lot of “cooling” products I’ve tried in the past tend to feel a bit stiff or slick, but this one feels smooth and lightweight without sacrificing comfort. It’s breathable, too—I don’t wake up sweaty, which is a huge win. One thing I really appreciate is how well it fits my pillow (I use the Eden Pillow from the same brand). It doesn’t slide around or bunch up, which is a pet peeve of mine with some pillowcases. The zipper closure is subtle and keeps everything in place, which makes the whole thing feel neat and tidy. If I had to nitpick, it’s a little pricier than a standard pillowcase, but honestly, the quality and cooling effect make it worth it for me. I’ve tried a few budget options before, and none of them came close to this one in terms of comfort or durability. Overall, this pillowcase feels like a small luxury that actually delivers. If you’re someone who sleeps hot or just wants a little extra comfort at night, it’s definitely worth checking out.

Excellent pillow cover. My Coop pillow is a little warm and this takes care of that. It cools on the surface and it's very comfortable. Washes well. I use color bleach and a low dryer setting. Bonus: It discourages the cat who otherwise climbs onto the pillow in the middle of the night and sleeps on my head.

Definitely makes your pillow feel cooler! It’s a little stiff but you get used to it.

The pillowcase is very soft and the cool side is cool to the touch. As soon as you use it, it becomes hot and doesn't cool down again. I thought flipping it over and using the other side for awhile would let it cool back down, but it didn't. Update - COOP reached out and sent me a replacement. I've used it for about a week and the replacement gets a little warm but not hot like the original one I received. The new one takes longer to get warm. When it gets warm I can flip it over and within an hour the cool side gets cool again. It helps me stay cooler while I'm sleeping.

Although a bit pricey both sides feel fantastic and undoubtedly make the Eden pillow fell even better, if that's possible. The one thing to keep in mind is if you have extra fill in the Eden, be aware the wash and dry results of the cases are very important. The cases are really snug even after a quick low heat dry method. If one removes some of the fill for the cases to fit it defeats the purpose , especially for side sleepers.

Overall a pretty nice product, though my major complaint is that after sleeping I have like string like fuzz in my beard because the pillow shreds. Hard to explain but the soft side get caught in the beard and pulls off the pillow case.

Wow, how does it do that? It actually feels cold. It’s super fitted. It doesn’t really look like a pillow case, but more like the cover that zips on the pillow before the actual pillow case. Pretty cool concept, however it works!

When we got these pillowcases, we were quite impressed with how cool the cooling side really was. The first few nights, we felt quite nice and comfortable. But after only a week of use, the cooling side started to fray and the cooling effect completely disappeared. I don't know if we got a defective pillowcase, however we bought two of them and both started doing the same thing so I think it is just the way things are. Really quite disappointed given the we have Coop pillows and they are great quality and continue to work perfectly. I would have thought the cooling pillowcases would also be of the same great quality but sadly no. I do not recommend people get this product given the high price and the fact that cooling just does not stay beyond a week of use.

This pillowcase is a magical fix for the very comfortable Coop Eden pillow’s one flaw: Heat buildup. The Eden advertises as being cool due to the infusion of cooling gel, but in reality that seems like a bit of a gimmick, or at least it’s not enough to offset the warming effect of memory foam. But replacing Eden’s stock pillowcase with this one provides a substantial improvement, making even the warmest of nights bearable. And while it won’t keep the spot you’re lying on cool forever, you need only move slightly to find another cool spot. I seem to only need to do this a few times before I just fall asleep. It would be ideal if the Eden came bundled with this pillowcase, but at least I have the stock one as a backup for when the cooling pillowcase is in the wash.

Coop has at this point got to be my absolute least recommended company. The non cool side of this case feels pretty awful. Rougher than most pillowcases, and the material is thicker in a bad way. For a "cooling" pillowcase, this side gets incredibly hot because it's so much thicker, and holds on to the heat much worse than a regular pillowcase as well. The other side is even sadder. The "cooling" effect, much like their pillows, only is a gimmick that you feel upon first touch. If you lay there for even a minute, you suddenly realize how uncomfortably hot it becomes. Also, even worse than their pillows, this case gets messed up super easily. Even washing and using it very carefully, and following all of their instructions, you get this weird, webbing effect across the pillow. This traps and lint and such, and no matter what you do it stays there unless you tear it off, which feels like you're damaging the pillow too. I was really hoping for something better here, after the incredible disappointment with their "Cool+" pillow series, and unfortunately, this is a gimmick in the same way. Please, save your money. Do not get this product.
