KEEN Solr Sandal

Fantastic. Incredibly lightweight yet extremely comfortable for all day wear. I've worn them in the Pacific and Atlantic as well as multiple creeks, ponds, and rivers. I have found they have excellent grip on wet rocks and boat decks and they dry fast. After a year of regular use, they still look near new and show no signs of wear and fit exactly as they did when I first unboxed them. Really impressed with the Keen quality. Perhaps there are better sandals out there, but I've never had a pair.

I love the king sandals. The new fabric has me concerned, but so far they are holding up well and they keep my toes from poking through with this new design.

I bought and returned 2 pairs of the Newport H2 water shoes due to size issues. The 10 had heel slippage and the 9.5 was too tight. My old Newport H2 sandals did fit good. The new ones don't. I then found the SOLR the other day on Amazon. I bought the size 10 and they fit perfectly at this point. I can use a 9.5 or 10 in shoes so buying online is not always the best but the 10 was the recommended size and fit is great. The SOLR has a Konnectfit heel that works as the description reads. No slippage but I just bought them so time will tell. You can bungie as with most KEENs for extra tight fit. I also noticed that these are lightweight compared to the Newport H2. I recommend these for anyone looking for a water sandal or to replace your Newport H2 sandals.

So straight to it, I bought this to help me with kayaking, particularly when I had walk up little river rapids/get in and out of the kayak at the beach. What ended up happening was instead of draining rocks as they filtered through, they got stuck and started jabbing straight into the sole of my foot, and no amount of water flow could get them out. I was in agony until I sat down and took the rocks and sandals off. While these things have a beautiful arch and are incredibly comfortable, they are meant for dry land use and a quick transition on and off at the beach/river means that they'll be welcome companions for sandy/rocky locations. Regardless of my water-sock-ability, these things are very well formed and have kept me protected on the trail before and are really nice otherwise. Incredibly durable, well worth the money, just not usable for what I wanted them for

These are great shoes if you work or play in a wet environment. I manage pools for a living and am constantly in search of clothing that's comfortable, functional and able to handle the hazzards of the trade. Chemical splashes and/or slippery pool decks are a tough order to fill in one shoe, but these guys are perfect. They have excellent grip on 97% of wet surfaces. They do lag a little when it comes to gripping on textured metal surfaces like latters. The materials are pretty unique and they're comfortable once you break them in. They're definitely tough. Cumulatively, I probably walk 4-5 miles a day on all kinds of wet and dry surfaces with a lot of arch bending and every stitch is still in place after using them 5 days a week for 2 months. I'm impressed. My old choice (the clog brand named for large amphibious reptiles) had pretty solid grip but, they would have already started slipping by now with my rate of use. These are significantly more expensive but, I would imagine the casual recreational wearer would get a few years out of these. Lastly, they haven't faded a bit despite all day sun and chlorine drips. Great buy.

I wear an 11 shoe. Bought these in 10. Perfect. It has a solid stretch heel strap that is a bit tricky to get on at first. Makes you think the shoes are to small. They’re not. Once on, they conform to your foot and subsequent on/offs are easy. I wear them all day long. Total comfort along with a good deal of support. I’ve tried other brands and they just don’t perform as well. Remember, go down a size, a bit tight to start, but they work in quickly and without discomfort. Perfect.

Durable, comfortable, outstanding. Wear almost daily for the past 4 years. Wear them in nearly all conditions including light snow. Lots and lots of miles. Buying another pair to replace them. Definitely my go-to shoes!

I love these. I bought them to replace the Merrill water shoes that I wear all of the time. The Merrill’s have been very good and are a little lighter than these Keen’s. The Keen’s seem to be more durable. They are not quite as flexible but they are still very comfortable. I am normally a reliable size 10. The Keen size 10 was too small in the toe area. I replaced them with 10.5’s and the fit is perfect for me Really nice shoes and I’m glad I stepped up to the Keen

Diese Keen Sandalen sind sehr bequem zu tragen und bieten ein sehr guten Halt auf feuchtem Untergrund. Sie lassen sich zudem problemlos in der Wachmaschine waschen. Ich habe das gleiche Produkt schon mehrere Jahre in Benutzung und bin sehr zufrieden damit.
