The bottle was very much what I had in mind, it has good weight to it. It smells absolutely amazing like birthday cake almost, the value is very fair for what you are getting. The quality is great in very durable material and made my hair volume exactly how I wanted it. It makes my hair VERY soft and a fragrance that is not too strong for other around me.

I was looking for a good shampoo for my 5 years old daughter, after trying some I love this one, excellent results, beautiful curls, at the beginning she was complaining about burning eyes but not anymore she learned to closed eyes when shampooing hair, I’ve been using this for months , smell is not the best but it’s ok

I was really hoping I'd like this, but it smells TERRIBLE. Like a mix of plywood and chemicals. I'm not sure if I can bring myself to actually use it, but if I do I'll update the review. The bottle is cute and it was well packaged, so there's that I guess..UPDATE: I ended up giving it a try, despite the scent, and I'm happy I did. As it lathers, the scent fades into a sort of faint bubblegum smell so it isn't so bad when being used- which was a relief lol. It also made my hair really smooth WHILE shampooing, whereas nearly every shampoo I've ever used tangles my hair. Changing my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars.

My teen daughter has just gotten a cut to accentuate her curls, and I was looking for curl-enhancing hair products. I am not going to spend what most of these brands were asking. I found Cake and got several products from them and was pleasantly surprised. They are a great price, have a sweet smell, and work very well. I gave some to my other daughter (also with curly hair) who was looking for a more economical brand for her hair products since moving out. After trying a sample I gave her, she said her hair felt great and she will also be purchasing from this brand.

I love this product line. I have found my new SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER! I have been using this line fir a little over a year now. I am extremely satisfied. I have very curly hair and just a wash condition and go is amazing. My curls pop and are lustrous like never b4. I waited to review because after a while you know it sometimes changes the way the product makes your hair act. This enhances my curls and I will forever use it. Ihave tried nearly every product and with the exception of tge Mousse the entire line us exceptional. The mousse however us alcoholly and my hair was not Receptive to it. I love everything else about this line. Please consider a color treatment shampoo & conditioner

Cake products work very well on my curls, and this one is no exception - it leaves my 3B/3C curls feeling extra soft and seems to prep the hair well against frizz.However this shampoo reeks of black licorice to the point that the conditioner and curl cream can't even cover it... Even after drying and applying other scented gells/cremes, it smells like I dunked my head in a barrel of absinthe. This may be fine in a pinch, but I won't be using it regularly enough to purchase a 2nd bottle - it's a bummer too because I like the conditioner and curl cream.

This shampoo smells so good and paired with the conditioner, it leaves my hair so soft! Just buy it.

I used this stuff for over a month hoping maybe with time it would work better with my hair but it never did. It dried out my hair, made it brittle, frizzy and more difficult to manage. It didn't feel clean, it made my hair feel heavy and dull with product, even when I tried washing it twice in a row in the shower. It also didn't do anything as far as helping or improving curls, I think this stuff is labeled for curls for marketing purposes but I don't think it has anything to do with or does anything for curls at all. One of the other reasons I purchased this is the marketing for its great smell. But no. The smell is horrible - artificial and it just doesn't smell good.
