SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Pro Series Case for Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra (2020 Release), Full-Body Rugged Holster & Kickstand Without Built-in Screen Protector (Black)

i have a unicorn beetle case for my tablet that looks and works great, so when I saw that there was one for the note 20 ultra, I had to get it. the pictures do not disappoint, and the splash of color makes the phone case look very nice. the case is BEEFY -- add that to an already large phone, and the whole package gets bigger, but just right for a guy that wears L and XL work gloves (see pic). the added width and added bezel reduces accidental screen touches that happen when you are holding a naked note 20 ultra. like other cases, there are elevated edges top and bottom on the front (see pic) to prevent the screen from touching a table when the phone is placed face down; for the back camera bump, the bump is recessed from the back of the case (see pic), but this means the phone + case overall is thick enough to engulf the camera bump. a couple other pictures show that there is a significant amount of protection on the bottom edge of the case -- maybe 1/4 inch protection -- this makes the s-pen recessed, but i can still access it easily. there is also a rubbery cover flap over the usb-c port; take note of the size of the opening, if your usb-c cable has a fat finger grip, it may not fit (i use anker usb-c cables, they fit ok). wireless charging works! (see pic) -- this was on the old samsung 10W angled charging stand. other perks -- flip out stand on the back of the case, and the case also came with a belt clip holder that covers the whole screen when the phone case is clipped in (face in); it also can hold the phone face out too. overall, another great unicorn beetle case!

This is going to be my third case so far mostly because of me being careless not due to the case's durability. I never go out of my way to leave reviews but I just had to give this item props where props are due. I recently had a situation where I stopped at a gas station to put air in my tires. In the moment of racing the air pump's timer to get all of my tires I placed my phone on the roof of my car. Once I finished filling my tires in my carelessness I forgot completely about my phone and drove off. Apparently the grip on this case works fairly well as I was able to drive a good distance before I got on the ramp towards the interstate. On the ramp itself where I started to accelerate I noticed that the music stopped playing from my phones Bluetooth and suddenly realized I just sent my phone flying in some odd direction at about 40 mph. After hours of searching, I found my phone only to be amazed that the worst thing that happened to my phone was a small crack on the top corner of the screen and some scrapes on the phone itself. Still fully functional, no major cracks, and a missing stylus pen but that can be replaced. The case was completely destroyed near the top, half of the plastic frame nowhere to be seen but that is okay. I believe that any case that can protect your $1000+ phone at the cost of its own durability is a great quality and a job well done. The case itself is kind of bulky but slim enough to fit in any pocket. The case's kickstand is one heck of a fingernail remover, I would say this is one of my only issues with this product. The kickstand itself is fairly decent and can also be used as a ring holder, the angle at which the case stands vertically can sometimes feel too inclined but its fine. ==TLDR== Case break, phone no break. Save money, much happy. feels good, kickstand can destroy finger. bonus ring holder.

The SUPCASE is a very nice looking case and the most important thing that I want to say up-front; It did protect my phone from the three drops I experienced in the first month since purchase. So, well-done SUPCASE. But, it did crack the front frame of the phone on the very first drop (from the bathroom counter to the floor is about 3.5 feet). So, not what I would call "Military grade". Secondly, the stand on the back is near impossible to open without using something for leverage, like car keys, screwdriver, etc. So, nigh-useless for quick use of the stand (found myself foraging for something to open it with each time and ultimately end up damaging the red paint coating). 4 stars because it is a nice case, it protected my phone, but it did break pretty easy and early on (but hey, I was using Otter Box previously, one of the toughest on the market and it broke exactly the same way!) Can't really go wrong here for 1/2 the price of the competition).

Update: I've had this new case for 3 months. The little nubbins holding the stand on already broke off. Kinda disappointed. I feel like my phone is very protected. I have dropped my phone numerous times and this thing is a TROOPER. I've had this case for about 5 months. The only thing I dont like about it is the comfortability of holding the stand with my fingers. I use the stand ALL THE TIME! It's very rigid and uncomfortable to hold. It is a very nice stand for it intended purpose. I already broke one side of the little plastic things that hold the stand on. I will be buying a new one. One thing I didn't really realize is that I didn't get a belt clip with my case, not really a problem for me since I don't see myself using it but I didn't get one. Hopefully this time I will get one

Tried the Supcase UB Exo case first, and that one wasn't great, which hampered my enthusiasm for his one. Thankfully though, this one from Supcase delivers in spades. It looks sharp, it feels grippy, there's no flex in the case to indicate gaps that dust can get in between the case and the phone, etc. I bought mine in the metallic red finish because red is my favorite color, and it looks as good it feels. It's a slightly beefy case, so if you want the shock protection and whatnot of a thicker case this is a great pick, but if you value a low profile over maximal damage protection, this one won't get it done. For me the added protection is a no-brainer, and I haven't put my phones in ultra-thin cases for years, but if that's an element you value highly just be aware this one is on the thicker side. For several phones I swore by the Incipio Dual Pro case, and they always served me well until my last phone, the Note 9, where I went though 2 of those Incipio cases cuz they kept chipping and having corners break off, etc. So with my new Note 20 Ultra I made a switch, and my initial impressions of this case are that it is as good (or better?) than my older Incipio cases I never had to give a second thought to. I will update this review later if this case deteriorates, but I wanted to get my initial thoughts in for those who like me have just gotten the new Note 20 Ultra and are looking for the best way to keep it protected.

First off, I have a few misc SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Pro Series Cases on tablets etc. Have also owned quite a few for other phones and they have been great. THIS particular model, not so great. I've seen others with the same breakage issue, so it's not just mine. Seriously, I'm generally QUITE delicate with this $1k phone, yet the front frame on this case snaps. See the picture. Three breaks in that frame. That case was 4 months old when I saw it was broken. I realize it is a thin piece of plastic, so, not sure how they could remedy this issue. This phone has never really taken a bad fall, but admittedly has been dropped a couple time from belt level or chair sitting , and well, the case broke but the $1k Note 20 ultra phone didn't. So, that's 20 bucks well spent I suppose. I'll accept that I guess. I have just replaced this case with another of the same model as there in not that much out there I feel is better. I should probably go on to the Otterly Boxed Defensive thing, but have NOT have great luck with those either in recent times as the rubber goes loose and stretches out. .... Would be really nice if Supcase had one of these cases that accepted (or CAME with) a glass screen protector. Overall, SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Pro Series Cases have done well for me. This case not so much. But, is what it is. Edit 5-29-21 Bought a 2nd case to replace the one that broke, and it has already broken in the two upper corners. It's a Note 20 ultra 5g, and I'm fairly careful with it. Sorry... This case is NOT worth buying, so, one star now. Supcase products are usually great, but don't buy this one. Or any with the thin bezel like this one. This is terrible. Back to the River Ferret Box... :(

I've had my phone for 2 weeks now. I've used Unicorn Beetle for a number of other things in the past, and I've always enjoyed how well it's been put together and the level of protection that is offered. I've had them all, well the "hardcore" cases anyway, like Otter Box Defender for example, and all of them have been fantastic and has offered me the ability to remove the phone to clean. The Supcase Unicorn Beetle pro BROKE at the notch where you're instructed to use a coin to remove. I did so, as per directions, and the plastic frame snaps at the curve, rendering the entire case useless, as it DEPENDS on a snug fit of this plastic frame. PROS: -Looks really nice, interesting colors available -The kick stand is a great way to keep hold of the phone, a la the pop things people use -Once you install your phone, it's really sturdy CONS: -Once I removed my phone, the FIRST TIME mind you, the case snapped. I wasn't even applying much force. It was exceptionally brittle. -The kickstand has a small "foot", so that if you've propped your phone up portrait orientation, a stiff wind will blow it over as the foot of the stand is more narrow than the stand itself, lending to wobbling and a lack of a good foothold. This is disappointing. I work from home and keep my phone propped up all the time, so this was a big annoyance for me. -It's actually pretty difficult to kick out the stand for the phone. Not a horrible thing because it remains secure, but there's a decent chance you can hurt your fingernail trying to open. I recommend a coin or something for the first few weeks as it breaks in. I don't think I'd buy this again due to the kick stand wobble and case. It may just be me, but this is my review and I'm sticking to it.

After spending an agonizing time looking at cases, I decided to get a few and try them out. This case was my favorite of the lot I picked up. I wanted one that protected the large camera box, and one that had a belt clip. This case fits snug, and allows full access to the hardware buttons, quick charging, and USB c port on the bottom. I'm rather clumsy with my phone, I dropped it quite a few times after putting the case on, and the phone remained perfect. I ended up dropping it right on a corner from a pretty good height, and noticed that the corner of the stiffer inner material broke. I pulled out my phone, and it was still undamaged. Just like with a helmet, after a severe crash, I'm getting a new case, and sticking with the supcase since it did such a good job. I'm also getting a supcase for my new galaxy watch since I trust them to protect it.

E' la seconda volta che acquisto questo prodotto per due modelli di smartphone differenti. Confermo l'ottima opinione fatta la prima volta. Il prodotto protegge al 100% lo smartphone sia da urti (io lo impiego durante diverse attività sportive) sia da ambienti polverosi (io lo uso durante l'hobby della falegnameria). Questa volta al nero classico ho optato per il verde metallizzato e lo reputo molto bello. Certamente per chi ama linee fini o eleganti o per chi è abituato a tenere lo smartphone nella tasca dei pantaloni non è proprio il prodotto adatto comunque nella tasca delle giacche non crea alcun problema.

Great product. Colour looks great. Kickstand bit hard to deploy. Careful if you have a screen protector installed may not fit and push in to the protective screen. Overall looks great and feel durable.

I've only been using this case for a couple of weeks now but I really like it. Will it take a drop from 4 ft as advertised?... I don't know. But what it will do is protect the screen if you place your phone face down on your desk and the camera if face up. The kickstand is a neat feature and is very stable in landscape. It's OK in portrait, but not as stable... with my phone. How long the kickstand will remain functional, I can't say. I do like it and this coming from a guy who has used Otterboxes for years.

This case is not for everyone. It really adds weight to the phone. And definitely bulky. But besides all that, this case is excellent for drop protection and provides a good grip too. The quality is good, I got the green color and it’s nice. The case protects all the sides of the Note 20 Ultra (especially the back camera bump) The front part of the case has raised lips so the screen never touches when you lay it flat on a table.
