Namibia Map (National Geographic Adventure Map, 3209) Map – Folded Map, January 1, 2022

Found this essential for our 14 day self drive trip. The detail was helpful for navigating and planning. Many times this helped when GPS didn’t for various reasons. Didn’t see this anywhere in Namibia so recommend getting in advance

This map saved us. It was the most important resource we brought to Namibia for driving around and exploring the out of the way areas. There were definitely a couple roads that were marked on here as being minor local roads that were actually paved when we got to them, which was a surprise, but it was otherwise very accurate and detailed.

Excellent map: water proof, folded up well after many uses; had all the major road routes and even historical and tourist sites. I would order from them again.

Saved us from our GPS... Just enough detail and more accurate than the GPS maps that took us on a 2 hour off-road detour.

Wonderful map

The National Geographic Adventure Maps are simply the best maps going! They are accurate, highly detailed, and guaranteed to increase one's levels of wanderlust. I take off in 3 days for Namibia, and this map will be in the front pocket of my kit!

National Geographic should be ashamed for producing something like this. The map was absolutely horrible. It appeared they were more interested in designating areas of Namibia with wide dark lines than the highways. It is not an easy map to follow and as you can tell from my name, I work for the DOT - Dept. of Transportation. The quality of the map was excellent though. We read in a guide book to bring a roll of toilet paper - we have ours now as we'll use the map.
