Works great to save documents and add to phone to send. The sliding cover fell off but it doesn't need it. It is sturdy and I need that since it is plugged in multiple times.

I just received this flash drive so have not used it extensively yet. First, the packaging was easy to open. Unlike the usual packaging they had the plastic container secured by an adhesive dot so you only had to pop it open instead of the usually cutting and ripping apart the packaging. It's a bit bigger than my other 256GB flash drives. The outside is brushed metal but it appears to wear or scuff easily as the plastic holder was scuffed and the flash drive had scuffed through the packaging. Having said that, the metal housing does appear to sturdy. I was able to plug it into my phone (Samsung S9+) and it worked just fine. Having said that when I plugged it into my Windows laptop I got a message saying it needed to be fixed. Don't do it, just ignore the message and pick to use the drive anyway. The last time I let Windows fix a flash drive I could not use the USB C end of the flash. I could only use it with an adapter plugged into the USB 3.1 end. I transferred a few pics and it worked just fine. Speed was okay. So far so good. I will update if I have anything new to add.

I am the video guy for a local wrestling promotion, I rely on this flash drive to store and move match footage, highlight reels, and entrance videos. This drive is extremely unreliable. The housing is not secured in any way, the motherboard for the drive can easily be exposed by attempting to disconnect the type c end of the cable from a port. It will disconnect in the middle of file transfer, and it gets extremely hot to the touch. Not a good buy, a piece of hot garbage.

My phone was full. I ordered this to get photos off my phone. Once I figured it out, it was fine. Now to get the photos onto my laptop.

Wouldn’t work with my otterbox

Perfect thumb drive for moving files, videos, & pics between my PC, Mac Air laptop, & Samsung Galaxy S20. I did do a fast format from the original FAT32 to exFAT, for my larger files, but had no problems whatsoever. Everything works as described. For the price, ease of use, compact size, & 234 GB of space, I would buy a couple more if needed.
