Collage Lost and Found: Creating Unique Projects With Vintage Ephemera Paperback – May 10, 2006

I really enjoyed Collage Lost and Found for many reasons. The illustrations were wonderful and easy to follow. I have never tried soldering before and I learned how through the demonstrations in this book. There were many other things I was able to make from this book and it started a whole new world of creativity for me. It has given me the confidence I needed to branch out and explore new types of art. This is a wonderful book that I go back to over and over again and never get tired of it.

Had this out of the library and had to own it. A lot of inspiration and information. I'm a fiber artist but love collaging and mixed media. This book is just fun to look at for ideas and well done for information. So glad I now own it.

I was looking for a book on collage techniques that used photos and vintage ephemera and this one caught my eye. It has many projects that I really like. I wish some went a little further in detail but I think I can follow them OK and have purchased some of the recommended supplies. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in this type of collage as opposed to the "artsy" painting and mixed-media style of collage.

This book is definitely not a beginner's book as I would consider many of the art objects requiring a wide range of textures (i.e. beeswax, glass, soldering, sheet metal, etc.) to be a creative challenge. However, the colorful illustrations and creative ideas are 'artistically delicious'! As a baby boomer, I am extremely fortunate to have an extensive 'collection' of vintage family photos and ephemera passed down to me by my mother. It's sad that I could be the last generation to have these types of memories due to the digital age of selfies and cloud storage...

Lots of items to make with clear directions! Still very relevant!

I enjoyed everything about this book. I love Collage using Vintage materialsand found many helpful suggestions, and easy instructions for projects suchjewlery made from glass slides, making paperweights, shrine from a cigar box,altered book covers, you name it, this book has it. This book is my new favoritein my library of many "How to" art books.

Full of great creative ideas.............will use often as inspiration, and for every project shown in the book, I've already found that each project leads me to yet another collage adventure. Isn't that what a book of this kind really should do?

This gal writes great books. She includes great pictures, instructions. She is very talented and creative. Fun to read.
