My mitt has lasted me about a year now.#3- I put a dab of vaseline on areas where self tanner collects. Inside of wrists, elbows, knees, ankles etc. It's never looked weird or spotty! #4- I use jergens gradual tanner in between to extend the length of the tan. Since you already have color buildup it keeps the tan looking even. It's also faster since you don't really need the mitt and dries quickly. This is what works for me anyway, I can get it to last about a week or two at most. Hope this helps! **Q: Is the overall tan a light tan or a medium tan? And does it look fake or orange?
