Detangler Brush

I have a lot of thick straight hair (1c) that gets tangled super easily. I’ve had this brush for over a year now and it’s by far the best brush I’ve ever used. Even for the most stubborn tangles, this brush gets through them in no more than 3-4 swipes with minimal pain. The brush does feel flimsy, but it’s still working strong and none of its teeth have broken for me. It’s a great value for the price.

It does a good job, works as claimed... But, for me personally it took some getting used to. I'd been using the Conair Detangling Brush for wet or dry hair since they came out years ago and loved them. Unfortunately, I have really long, very thick, misbehaving hair (and my daughter got it from me, for which she is less than thankful for lol not that I blame her) I always ended up having to get a new one every year as the bristles would wear out and get to where they wouldn't even go through my hair before going sideways. I stumbled upon these brushes while looking for new ones for my daughter and I and decided to try them after reading the info and a lot of reviews. I hadn't seen or heard of them before so I didn't realize how popular they apparently are. Now that I have gotten used to it I can see why. This is a good brush, though a really odd looking one. It looks like a rake, according to my daughter, lol. It took getting used to for both of us after using the other type for so long. This one pulls more as it has resistance that the ones I was used to didn't, but even though it pulls some and had me feeling a bit tender headed for the first few days it didn't break or damage my hair. I blame my old brush for my head getting tender so easily, it didn't used to. I think the fact that the bristles didn't have much resistance let my scalp sensitize due to lack of stimulation. Which is why I decided to give this brush an honest try even when I was a touch sore after I used it for the first few days. It does a good job of not breaking hair when being used and I like how easy it is to clean. Plus, no more issues with water filling my brush inside the bristle pad in the shower. I love the big shower comb that came with it and the hair clips are about the neatest little things for helping hold hair while cutting or styling it. I've never seen ones like that before. Only the ones that stay straight. I love the hinge on these. Overall, a nice little set and my daughter and I are both happy with ours.

I'm in love with this brush it's wonderful on my thick hair and the comb is wonderful also

Adorable colors! It does help detangle once hair has all the knots out for the curly, coily hair. I'm disappointed with how "hard" the bristles are. I thought they were going to be soft. My 2 year old immediately gave me a look to brush her hair soft because of the bristles. I used it myself and it's a good brush. I liked the comb as well. Just expected them to be more on the soft side. Not firmly hard. I use these during bath time. I'm happy with them so far. I bought these for my daughters.

This detangling brush is a must-have if you have curly, coily, or kinky hair! I have 3c/4a curls and was amazed at how easily this brush glides through my hair — no more painful tugging or endless knots. Love this brush for my naturally curly, kinky hair. It doesn't hold static, doesn't create more frizz, and doesn't pull hair out. I have very long hair that is totally wacko, and this seems to just glide through it with very few hairs in the brush afterward. It also works well to slightly tease the top of my hair for a natural lift. I love that it is safe on wet or dry hair. The comb lives in the shower stall (because it has a hook end) and is used to distribute conditioner quickly and easily. I almost never have tangles!

Excellent set for detangling curly hair without too much breakage. Works on wet or dry hair equally well.

This is a very interesting brush and comb. The brush you have to assemble by putting the little bar on the bottom of it. But I really like this brush and it’s very easy to clean and I like the comb too. I think it was pretty good price as well. It’s strongly made, I think it’ll hold up for a while.
