There are several ways to use this product. For a facial cleanse1. In a non metal bowl mix  1-2  heaping tbsp  of amla powder, 1tsp of lemon juice or apple cider vinegar,  and just enough warm water to make a paste2. Apply paste to face. Leave on until hardened. Rinse off using light circular motion. 3. Apply your favorite mositurizer.For hair cleanser1. In a non metal bowl mix 2-3 tbsp of amla powder, 2 tbsp of creamy conditioner, 1-2 tsp of coconut oil, just enough warm water to make a paste the consistancy of soft serve ice cream (increase/decrease ingredients based on hair length). Let mixture sit for 5-10mins before applying to hair2. Work through your hair from root to tip. Dont comb through at this stage. 3. Cover your hair with cling wrap or a shower cap for 30-60 min.4. Rinse out mix with warm water5. Apply conditioner and comb through 6. Rinse again and style as usual

I am african american , i have natural hair, and i have hair dye in my hair like a dark red. Will this cause my dye to rinse out ?

Not sure if hair texture plays a part but as a Hispanic with wavy hair it did not affect my hair color. I too dye my hair an auburn red color and the color remained vibrant. Good luck!!

Can you eat this amla powder? One tbl spoon in the morning with water? I read this help with hair growth as well as applying directly to you scalp.
