We bought the Mega Cyborg Hand for our 7 year old, and it has been such a fun and engaging project for our whole family. Building it together has been a great experience, though I would say a 7 year old definitely needs adult help and guidance for some of the steps. There are certain parts where an adult is required, but that actually made it a really enjoyable hands-on project to work on together.Our 10 year old also loves fiddling with it, which shows how well it spans multiple age ranges. The instructions are very clear and thoughtfully laid out, making the build feel much less intimidating. I especially loved that some pages in the manual include fun comic style stories and interesting facts about the physics behind how the mechanics work, it’s a great educational touch!We have absolutely loved this purchase for the value and are excited to finish building it and start using the hand. Highly recommend for families looking for a meaningful STEM project to do together. Age range: 7+

This was awesome!! My kid needed something to keep himself busy this did the job. He’s 6 so did need more help but didn’t mind it. It turned out so great and could use it as a time to teach how hydraulics work. Great quality little large for his age but again. He’s younger than one might get it for. It is very complex and a little harder to screw the screws in but we loved the quality time.

This is a great toy for a kid who likes to build things. Not only will they build, but they can also make use of it and see how the structure correlates with the function. Of course, it has sparked requests for more toys like this but that is a great thing. It is nice if you want to keep your child stimulated without being in front of a screen all of the time. The instructions are straight forward. My only gripe is how the pieces have to be popped out and it does result in some sharp edges that need to be shaved down so the parts can fit. For this reason, I give this toy 4 stars instead of 5. I would recommend that the parts come separated already into separate bags. Otherwise, it is a great value for the money.

The end result has brought lots of fun to my grandson. It did take parental help to build it but was a good Dad and son adventure.

My 5 year old son and I had a great time putting it together. The instructions are easy and it’s educational. Avoid picking up heavy objects.

My grandsons liked it the first time, but broke it easily roughhousing.The 10 year old wanted another, but has lost patience assembling it. He is waiting for his busy older brother to help him, Good quality, and fit, though.Otherwise it works well and he found the first one very satisfying for play.

dont trust the seller

While the parts in the box is all complete, the box is dented and the seal is broken. Meant to be a gift for a little boy. Lesson learnt to buy toys from physical stores in the future

The product looks amazing with very very detailed instruction inside. However, the box was delivered without wrapping, no Amazon bag, no Amazon box. The box is damaged and does not look like a new one. The shipment sticker was put directly on the box with the product. This is a gift and it took me a while to remove the sticker. Consider another seller of this product.
