McCall's Patterns M2476 Misses' Robe, Nightgown Or Top and Pull-On Pants Or Shorts, Size Y (SM-MED-LRG)

The pattern is an “Easy” McCall’s Pattern #2476 with 15 pieces. The pattern is for pajamas and bathrobes for women. The pattern is easy for seamstress with at least 2+years of machine sewing. I like this pattern and it’s built in variety! I used cotton flannel.

I have made the robe, two long night gowns and pajama pants so far. Easy and pattern had very good instructions. Will be sewing more from this pattern.

I bought this pattern for my 12 year old daughter who is about 5'2". We made the nightgown with the size small pattern using the included marked modifications to reduce the length, but it was still really big on her. I am 5'6" and about 40 lbs heavier and and it was barely the right size for me. So I would definitely say this is not a pattern for petite women. We ended up modifying it with some drawstrings on the sides for a better fit and it turned out cute. It's still a good pattern and we intend to make some of the other pieces with size adjustments. I am not very experienced in sewing clothes (I tend to do more home decor projects) and I was able tackle this without confusion.

This is a very easy pattern. I needed this for one of my sewing classes and did not find this challenging. I also thought this pattern was easy to alter the length if needed. The ink was light on some of the sheeting but still legible.

This pattern works and is sized right. I would recommend it. I just didn't particularly like it finished for me. Lots of robes have those dropped seam shoulders but I've never worn one before I found it felt heavy to me. Also since I'm short waisted the low armpit was too close to the waist tie for me. I'm going to find a robe with regular inset sleeves.

Easy, fast pattern to put together. Buy extra fabric though, because the cutting layouts are poorly planned. Layout for the pajama top isn’t even possible.

Bisher habe ich mir nur Nachthemden danach genäht. Diese sind aber schön einfach zu Nähen und sind schön bequem geschnitten. Pyjamahose und Bademantel habe ich noch nicht probiert, konnte aber den Schnitt schon studieren. Sieht auch unkompliziert aus und das Ergebnis ist bestimmt auch großzügig geschnitten. Überhaupt: wer Körpernahes erwartet ist eher enttäuscht. Ich finde, das macht aber bei Nachtwäsche auch nicht wirklich Sinn, oder?

Beaux modèles, mais hélas pas d'explications en français. Juste sur l'emballage le métrage du tissus. En principe dans les patrons mc call's il existe un feuillet en français mais là non.... dommage, je vais faire avec !!!

Me va bien lo único que viene con medidas americanas y al principio me fue un poco liado pero luego lo comprendi

I used part of this pattern to make a long tunic of sherpa-fleece for wearing inside the house when it’s cold. Pattern is simple and exactly as pictured. I’m pleased.

Used this pattern very easy to follow and looks nice when finished
