I've tried almost every type of sunglasses through team sponsorships over the years (Oakley, Rudy Project, Tifosi, etc.) and these Bolle Shifters with the Phantom lenses are my favorite. After a month with the black / grey I pulled the trigger on these blue/pink. The frame size is excellent for protection from the wind, bugs, debris, etc. Ventilation is excellent. As a rider with contacts I've had issues with a bunch of glasses and airflow behind the lens but these are great. The lens itself is hyrdophobic which means you don't get the "sweat tracks" that occur with most other lenses. You can actually feel the texture on the back when you are cleaning it. Fantastic in the rain and hot days. If you ride at all times of the day these lenses are fantastic as the tint adjusts based on light. Even on super bright days I find the tint dark enough to be comfortable and clear lenses in the early AM or riding late are brilliant. Solid 5 out of 5.

I was looking for a pair of sunglasses for cycling that would stay on my face, deflect wind from my eyes and had high quality lenses, but didn't look like the typical "sporty" wraparound sunglasses. Found these and liked the looks a lot - like a vintage ski goggle frame. I've been using them now for about a month of riding and I'm loving them. They stay put on my face, they don't slide on my nose, they're not too tight - honestly I forget I have them on. I like that the shape of the top of the frame keeps the lens off of my forehead, so sweat doesn't get onto the lens while I'm riding. And I really like the lens color. I wanted a lens that was as light as possible while still providing good protection from the bright sun and glare, and these are exactly what I was looking for. I'm not an expert on cycling, cycling glasses or sunglasses in general but I am happy with these and plan to use these for as long as they last. They also come with a nice hard zipper case in addition to the soft sleeve.

Nice glasses but scratch simply by cleaning them.

For me, these Bolle Shifters are the best bargain out there for cycling shades. I like them so much I bought 5 of them. The field of view is expansive, and I don't notice them at all, which is a good thing. As for styling, when I have my helmet on, I think they are good looking, but when I'm not wearing a helmet, I think they look kind of dorky. Functionality-wise, they are awesome though. They are made in Taiwan. I have not tried the Lighshifter, but I assume the Lighshifter is pretty much the same except for being frameless on the bottom. Lens color variants:Vermillion lens (35% VLT): I love the vermillion tint which is a light rosy pink. It's great for morning rides and late afternoon rides. In very harsh sunlight, the density is a bit light, but it's decent, and they still protect your eyes.Phantom Clear Green photochromic lens (62-9% VLT): I bought these for brighter conditions, but I was disappointed because they are light density, and they don't seem to get much darker, even in extreme UV levels, even though they are rated CAT 1 to 3.Phantom Vermillion photochromic lens (47-11%): This is my favorite lens variant. I love the rose tint, plus the photochromic allows me to use them for early morning rides or in the harshest of sun.

The second I took them out of the box I said "gas station sunglasses". Nothing about these justifies their price. They fit really weird on my Italian/Roman face and look awful. The lens is fine, but not special.

These are great all around sunglasses for sun and shade. I especially like them when I duck into the woods mountain biking where there is less light. These do not fog. Best sunglasses I’ve owned for cycling. Lenses are amazing!

Tried these out for the first time today. Went cycling in a very light rain - almost a fine mist. I was also giving off a lot of humidity because I got pretty sweaty. Throughout my ride my vision was as clear as it would’ve been if I had not been wearing sunglasses. Also, I did not notice variations in brightness when I passed from cloudy, rainy areas to areas where the sun was poking through. This review is just based on one day, but first impressions are top notch.

Great vision, light and do not fog (even on the day my bicycle mates had to remove their glasses because theirs kept fogging).

Las has me han costado 55.12€, para despejar dudas sobre colores y demás si compras las blancas con cristal azul espejado recibes eso mismo blancas con cristal azul espejado y tinte de lente marrón transmisión de luz visible VLT 15%. El espejado no es tan espejo como otra marcas pero estan muy muy bien.En la caja viene funda rígida y funda de microfibra para su limpieza, nada las, ninguna lente adicional.El puente nasal es regulable en tres posiciones, para diferentes anchuras de nariz.Las patillas por dentro traen una zona engomada para mejorar el agarre.Me pareceb muy buenas gafas, el unico pubto criticable es que quizas sean demasiado estrechas de atras y aprieten un poco en la sien.El ajuste es perfecto no ves la montura ni por arriba ni por abajo al menos según mi morfología de cara.Sin duda las volveria a comprar para la practica del ciclismo

Bought these for cycling, very good glasses. No issues on full sun days and super clear when riding on the shady trails.Glasses feel very light and sturdy. They did not move at all while riding, infact after my first ride I had forgotten I was wearing glasses because the field of vision is so immersive you do not see any of the frame and the lenses enhances natural colors instead of tinting them. Fog control is very goodComes with a Hardcase and soft case.Don't forget to read the care instructions - it is best to just rinse these glasses with warm soapy water for cleaning and let them dry instead of cleaning solutions/clothAll in all,Definitely worth the money

These sunglasses offer great peripheral vision. I used them on my bike rides, all the time, even at night. The photochromic lenses are really good. The only con is that sometimes street lights create some reflection in the lenses.
