Alright, but could be better.
My D-Pad and triangle, square, circle/O, and cross/X work fine. With one problem, but everything else is just not working. My Problems:The O button I got was a bit smudged. It almost looks like a lowercase "d". I can live with this, but it shows the poor production cycle that goes into making these. The rubber start, select, and backing for the PS button is not big enough. The PS button hangs and wouldn't stick out far enough like the original. The start and pause were fine, but due to the fact it is all one piece I had to use the original so no red buttons.L2 & R2 are poorly designed. The bar will fit, but it slides out way to easy as it is not a full circle and there is no center clipping like the original buttons. Plus it is near impossible to put the metal clip into the buttons to act as a spring. Without it you have no center sitting point for the buttons. Instead they just droop down and are unusable. The joysticks are a joke. Mine came discolored or faded look to them. The rubbing was poorly placed and slightly peeling off. Top all this off with the fact these joysticks are way to small. Moving them exposes internals of the controller and they grind when moved.---Overall these are not one-hundred percent bad, but not worth it in my opinion. I would suggest anyone looking to buy these spend a bit more on a better set.

Does not fit properly on PS3 controller CECHZC2U (A2)
The item worked after I've done some modification. I could not use the R2/ L2 buttons because they were too tight preventing the free movement (it sticks). The Start/ Select button worked but the PS is non functional due to the connector not aligning therefore the whole Start/ Select assembly is trashed. The thumb sticks did not fit to the shaft therefore I had to, yet again, modified the holes to fit. The directional and X,Y, circle, and square worked with a few trimmings on the edges. I still like how my controller turned out without the button that didn't work. The bottom line, unless you are good with your hand and small tools, I would not recommend this product.

Patience pays off big time
I never post reviews, but spirit compelled me to type this one so here we go: I ordered the green chrome buttons (for $2!) and let me tell you, they are sick! The price and reviews had me feeling skeptical at best. I went ahead and placed my order thinking "oh well if they're junk, it was only $2." SO, I swapped em out and was instantly mega disappointed, because they just didn't feel right and made my controller weird and glitchy (random reloading, randomly switching to guns I didn't have without me pressing anything, not being able to sprint) and it was mainly the square and circle buttons. I was pissed...then sad, but I'm no quitter. I popped the back of my controller back off, resituated the buttons making sure they're sitting perfectly in place, then CAREFULLY snapped it back together and VOILA! Absolute perfection. I can see y people get upset with these. Take a breath, summon patience and work with it till they're just right (totes worth it) I discovered that snapping the back back on made the buttons jump and move a little, causing the controller to misfire and glitch the way it did. Now, they're all perfect. Been playing for days now with no problems whatsoever. Hopefully this helps somebody because I basically have carpel tunnel syndrome now."...game on." -Wayne and Garth :)

Not completely compatible replacement, but still a good one :]
Buttons and directional pad swap out just fine, but I had issues with the triggers. There are 3 types of US made PS3 controllers, and I happen to have one of each. It's pretty much impossible to swap out the triggers on the older models, but if you have an A1 or B1 controller it's easier. I did have to cut off the black rubber section from the original padding under the Home button as the one that came with the replacement kit didn't reach the control board, so I couldn't turn the controller on. I had this issue with all 3 types of controller. For what it's meant to do, this is the best kit for the money, as it comes with all the parts, not just the buttons or directional pad.

Everything is great except for one thing.....
Didnt realize the spring for the bottom trigger was needed, not included. I got this for replacement parts for a broke controller. And a mistake on my part ....I should've gotten a shell because my broke controller is missing a piece from the shell. Its also an older controller so a shell from them wouldnt have fit anyway.Pieces still fit my broke controller tho....so it can be used somewhat until I get a new one.If one is gonna use things like this for replacements, fixing controllers be aware about the spring for the bottom trigger. Might as well just get the complete shell. (just found out the spring comes with the shell )For reference I have the older controller they say wont fit.

Fun project for a lazy evening!
This was a really fun little project! I didn't replace every button, because I wanted a sort of "pieced together" look. Looks great and the ONLY thing I thought could have been better was using the symbol colors on the shape buttons. Green triangle, pink square, etc. These buttons only use white, but it's not a big deal unless you don't already know the colors that correspond to the shapes. Anyway, I recommend just looking up an assembly/disassembly video on YouTube to watch while you tackle this project. 😎
