The Sarah Rose American Teen Princess Pageant is a beauty contest to die for! And that's exactly what the contestants in Mount Rose, Minnesota, are doing. The overall film is hilarious, its staged as a documentary and it covers a broad range of politically incorrect subjects and spotlights religeous hypocracy and small town idiocy. Timing is excellent, short side stories cut throughout are extremely well done, the actors are fantastic and I wish there had been more films this funny. Loved It
I absolutely loved this movie. Kirsten Dunst is a scream. It's all pure satire and a spoof of slasher films. Allison Janney is terrific, as is Kirstie Alley. Also, Ellen Barkin is a delight as the always drunk alcoholic mom. A must see!

One of the best mockumentaries ever made.
Following a small town beauty pagent in Minnesota, an all star cast gives the "most smartest" performances. I already owned on regular DVD, but had to get Blu-ray for my collection. I could watch this movie every day.

My favorite movie, FINALLY on Blu-Ray!!!
I love this movie SO MUCH that when it was on DVD, I owned 2 copies - one in my TV stand, and one in my fire safe, in case the house burned down. At one point, I paid $85 for a copy when mine was stolen. There was a petition online for a while to put this on Blu-Ray, and they finally listened. So now I have 2 DVDs and a Blu-Ray! Absolute must-see, hysterical movie - especially since I'm from Minnesota!

A good nostalgic movie
My boyfriend loves this movie, so I tracked it down for his birthday. I guess it's out of print and a bit hard to find.

Nostalgia movie
Have memories of this movie since very little, why not relive those memories

This is one of my favourite comedies and was well ahead of its time. Most of the younger cast went on to become big stars in their own right, and it was nice to see them earlier in their careers, especially Amy Adams. Some of the language used might be offensive to some, but it fits the setting and time period, so I didn't mind it.
