Auto Parts Store
I work at an auto parts store which, for possible legal purposes, I will not name here. My duties in inventory control require me to use a "smart" scan gun of the sort shown in the image. Prior to getting this, I was setting it down in random places and forgetting where I set it down. This allows me to have the scan gun with me and NOT forget where I put it. I'm sure whenever I leave the company or advance to a position which doesn't require me to use it, it will be seen as a serious asset to anyone using it. It's ambidextrous, so if you're in the statistical ~10% of left-handed people, it's usefulness is NOT lost.

Very Handy
I work in a shipping warehouse where I’m constantly getting on and off my forklift and toting orders from a packaging area to the shipping dock to scan to stage product just to go back and do it again. I used to leave my RF handheld terminal (or scanning computer gun) all over the place. But not anymore. It fits the holster perfectly, and the holster is easy to put on and take off, and is fairly durable. I’ve been using it for two weeks now, and I really have no complaints. A good buy indeed.

I never misplace my scanner and have it by my side.
I use it for work at Walmart, I have the trigger for my scanner, it makes my job much easier and very ergonomic.

Not tough enough
When I first got it and tried it out, I was quite satisfied. But then after no more than 7 work shifts wearing it, it started to feel really loose and wobbly. Turns out the stitching holding the belt clip to the unit had come almost completely undone. the ends of the reversible snap strap on the front are also getting frayed.I work in a warehouse - which I would have thought would have been this holster's natural habitat. Most of the use it managed to see was just me riding around on a lift, whipping out the gun every minute or two for a quick scan before moving to the next location. Standard picker behavior. Again, I expected it would handle this. Was very surprised that it failed as quickly as it did. Literally within 2 weeks of purchase. It's still functional if you turn that top section downward and shove it into your belt like a paddle holster - but now it impairs movement with the bottom strap on, and isn't secure enough with the bottom strap off. And while I could try out the shoulder strap, this would interfere with safety equipment and I dont need it flopping around all over the place when bending or moving around.I feel like this item is best described, "almost. almost worked."Make it sturdier. sew the seams right. like a safety harness. those things don't fall apart on you.And as long as you're back at the drawing board, maybe think about making it possible to attach sideways - so the handle of the scan gun sticks out away from your body. If it had this capability, I would have probably worn it in the middle of my back for ambidextrous use. And that would have been pretty sweet. For the whole week and a half before it broke.EDIT - since the clip broke I've been using the little swivel panel to tuck it into my belt. it has since then begun to deform a bit. both the paddle and the holster itself. there are threads coming out of all of the seams. this would be a great holster for a manager who wants to walk around and look important with a gun on his side... but for a guy he uses his scanner gun several hundred times a night this thing is useless.

Goooooooddd
Its great and has all the stuff mentioned and use it for work. The belt is kind of uncomfortable but get a belt cover and that's fine.

Got it for work
It was nice until the part with the belt clip came apart. Couldn't even use the belt loop part because that boke too. The shoulder strap is uncomfortable but you can use the strap as a belt if you are skinny enough to slip it around your waist and tighten it.
