Very pleased!
I used this on pre-painted, white furniture, it dried fast and clear. Low odor, easy to work with, goes on even and smooth, no brush marks and a little goes a long way.

Smooth, Durable Finish – Easy to Apply
This is an excellent water-based protective finish. It goes on smoothly, dries quickly, and leaves a really nice satin finish that protects the wood without making it look overly glossy. I like that it’s water-based, so cleanup is easy and the smell isn’t overpowering like some oil-based finishes. It levels out nicely and gives projects a professional-looking protective coat. If you're finishing furniture, cabinets, or other wood projects and want a durable clear coat with a nice satin sheen, this is a great choice.

Great product for indoor projects
Purchased for an indoor project as a means of reducing the odor associated with the oil based product. This was the first time I used the water based product. The photos illustrate the finished results on an kitchen island project. The wood pictured is cypress stained with Minwax oil based light pecan. The long horizontal boards (first photo) were pre-stained prior to installing to reduce indoor oil. The polycrylic was applied with a disposable natural fiber "chip" brush. A total of 3 coats was applied with light sanding with fine grit sand paper between the first and second coat. The end pieces (photo 2) were finished outside prior to install using the same process. Overall the product use easy to apply and went on bubble free. Overall appearance after final coat was very good despite using a "disposable" natural fiber brush. Clean up, very easy as the brush was easy to clean with just water. I was able to use the same "disposable brush" for the entire project, and the brush still is in good shape (see photo 3), with little to no residue present. Odor was minimal and did not persist for more than 1 to two days. This is a versatile product for indoor projects. Clean up is easy with just soap and water, much safer for indoor use due to less chemicals. I'm quite pleased with the results, and would expect a "furniture grade" finish if applied with a good quality brush or sprayed. My go to for indoor wood and furniture projects.

My Go To Sealer.
My go to sealer. I’ve used Minwax Polycrylic many times on my art creations and so far I’ve never been disappointed. Protects surfaces and seals projects very nicely. I always apply with soft sponge brush or with gloved hands. Don’t overthink applying. Apply thin layers and let dry between each layer. Patients is the key to a perfect finish.

A must have in any painter’s toolkit
I’m an artist who often works with acrylic latex paint (plus lots of other mediums) and after many long years of hard gained experience, I consider this a must have in my painting toolkit. I never used to prime or seal my work and would watch it disappear with time. Oil based sealants are a complete mess, and that’s the beauty of this water based sealant. It’s super easy to clean up, goes on beautifully on virtually any surface and can be applied in a variety of methods. Having multiple sheens is obvious but a super nice touch. I usually stick with satin or matte but high gloss certainly is beautiful and has its applications. In my most recent work, I painted some plates i upcycled, and this product just sealed all my hard work in and will protect it for years to come. Highly recommended!

Very good, need to learn the technique of applying because it dries fast and to prevent the foggy appearance

First time I've had success with poly with near perfect finish
This applies extremely well. I had almost no bubbles on my project which is a first. sanded in between coats with a light 420grit sanding. Would caution that it is not the clearest finish I have worked with. This seems to have a coat which darkens timbers only slightly less than an oil based poly. There are other water based polys I have used which resulted in a closer color to the natural wood, however this pales in significance when compared to the quality of the finish
