Excellent
I used this product with a Schumacker OBD 2 On-Board-Diagnostics 2 Memory saver on my2016 Toyota Tacoma SR5. I plugged the male cigarette lighter adapter into this product which has to beplugged into an AC ext. cord for power, 110/120 volt and comes out as 12V DC power. It worked great to save all my settings in my vehicle such as Radio XM, and all other items and only had to change the clock time. All other settings were good to go. I had 2nd thoughts in doing this but it worked out fine. I would suggest doing some homework before using these items on your car/truck. Other than resetting the clock all went well, as it worked out for me. Thanks, to those who answered my questions I had before doing this.

Not working—UPDATE—working perfectly now!
UPDATE 3/8/23: so it turns out the the product was not defective! I just didn’t get a big enough size to handle the vacuum I had. The company sent me a bigger adapter and it has worked perfectly now! Super happy with this new one. Seller is great at ensuring I got what I needed and in a timely fashion as well!Connected the adapter to the wall outlet and the vacuum I needed it for. The vacuum called for 110W. The adapter said it could handle up to 120W. But it only turned on the motor for a few seconds and kept turning it off. I tested the vacuum and it was not vacuum but the adapter that was not working. So waste of money for me- this actually reminded me that I need to request a refund as it seems mine was defective.

Good for Car Cooler
Got this to plug in our car cooler while we were in the hotels on our trip. Worked great. Be careful unplugging as it does get hot on the metal end but works well.

We bought this in Oct of 2022, we used it one time. Now we want to use it again in Nov of 2023 and it will not work. We contacted the seller and they sent us a new one right away. Received the new one mid to late November and during testing November 2023, the new one seems to be working well!

Delivers no power (amps)
I was hoping I'd enjoy the same success the majority of positive reviewers had experienced. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. And I realize "reviews" can be skewed occasionally and I try to be mindful of that.I bought the AC-DC adapter for a specific purpose, recharging my lithium jump box. It recharges both by USB (at 2.1 amps) and much faster with a 12 volt source (at 5 amps). Prior to getting this device I was using another SLA jump box's 12 volt outlet. But this resulted in both the SLA jump box and the Lithium jump box to both be charging at the same time as the SLA box was plugged into an AC outlet. It did work though, albeit more slowly than I preferred. So I decided to purchase this AC-DC adapter so I was simply recharging the lithium jump box alone.I could have purchased just a 5 amp AC-DC model but I thought I'd be better served by buying an adapter that was capable of enough amperage to run any 12 volt tool/device I have. So I purchased the 20 amp model. My initial use was of course recharging the lithium jump box. I had it on the adapter for nearly 24 hours without getting quite a complete charge. I was disappointed as I thought it should have done much better (4 - 5 hours tops). But I set it aside and in the last couple days (and a week after my return window closed) I went to charge the lithium jump box again. This time I inserted a "Kill-A-Watt" meter between the outlet and the AC-DC adapter's plug to see what was going on. The "Kill-A-Watt" is a very handy device and convenient to use although I'm not sure how precise the reading may be. At any rate, I saw that this 20 amp AC-DC adapter was only providing .3 amps. That was incredibly less than the 5 amp range I was expecting. Even the USB charging port on the lithium jump box pulled 1.5 - 2 amps. I thought maybe the "Kill-A-Watt" meter might be faulty or just that imprecise. So I double checked those results by using a line splitter between the AC-DC adapter and outlet and took a reading with a Fluke clamp meter, a much more precise instrument than the "Kill-A-Watt" meter. But surprisingly it too only read .316 amps being pulled from the AC-DC adapter. That was basically a "half" test. I also decided to test it against another known amperage draw. I have a 12 volt car vacuum that was rated to pull about 8 amps in use. I again used both the "Kill-A-Watt" meter and the line splitter/Fluke meter. The 20 amp AC-DC adapter only provided about 1.3 amps when the vacuum was on, even when I blocked the vacuum intake which should have upped the amp draw. So again the 20 amp AC-DC adapter fell way (way) below it's touted specs. The good news was that the "Kill-A-Watt" meter turned out to be surprisingly accurate. I heartily recommend the "Kill-A-Watt" meter to anyone. It's an inexpensive and surprisingly accurate device. The bad news was the new AC-DC adapter was useless, apparently a waste of money and I'd discovered that about a week after the return window had closed. My purpose for this review is two fold. Firstly I strongly suggest anyone purchasing one of these AC-DC adapters to test them thoroughly before your return window closes (regardless of the amperage model you purchase).Secondly I'm hoping I received a "one off" unit and Alitove (producer of this unit?) actually follows these reviews and responds responsibly. I can accept that there will be "bad" units that occasionally make it to a consumer. But that doesn't mean these, as a whole, are a poor product. If this unit was a "bad" unit and Alitove's customer service reaches out and attempts to rectify this disappointing experience I will update this review accordingly. "Bad" units are in fact a fact of life on occasion. But customer service excellence more than makes up for a bad experience in my opinion. Good customer service is cost effective if it off-sets a poor reviews that may make another customer think twice before buying their product.

Fantastic for all +15A amps needs. Fast & easy!
The media could not be loaded. Pricey, yes, but this is the +20A model which I needed specifically for my 15A Air Hawk compressor for a slow-leak flat. Couldn't use the cigarette lighter outlet so this inverter was perfect. From 0 to 32 PSI in 7 minutes. Has a really long cord on both ends of unit, is sturdy, and after a few uses does not get hot. Really impressed!
