Makes Great Coffee!
We have a Motor Home and when we travel we tried several different methods for making coffee, French press, etc. We are spoiled at home with our automated coffee machine that does milk based fancy drinks that we have become accustomed to. We tried bringing our home coffee machine with us a few times, worked fine but its just a big machine that takes up a lot of room, which we don't have in a small motor home kitchen. Not a lot of options in an automated coffee machine that's compact though, I was actually looking at a Keurig type machine when I stumbled across this little gem. This is basically a Keurig but WAY better. Ease of a Keurig with the fancy options of an automated machine. I was so excited when I found this, its small and compact but also does all the fancy milk based drinks we want when we travel. (I mean when you get old and spoiled you want what you want!) We had already been using Lavazza beans for our home automated machine so we get to use the same coffee we love and now have a compact machine that will do the drinks we want too. Although I am not usually a big "pod" fan for traveling they work so great! No messy coffee grounds to deal with or pack, everything is in a nice neat pod that makes morning coffee fast and clean. Now, taste! OMG this machine makes amazing coffee! So much so that we debate using it at home now as well. The foam froth being from a spinning design steams/whips up the milk and creates a soft and decadent foam that is so creamy and delicious, just like a coffee shop.(our home machine just steams it so its not as smooth of a foam) Coffee brews flavorful and hot and the end result drink is so good! We certainly feel spoiled being in the middle of no where and having the best cup of coffee to sip every morning. It doesn't take up much space, makes excellent coffee, the pods are easy to pack and stay fresh - no griding of beans needed. Cleaning the machine is simple as all the pods drop down into an easy bin you just pull out and dump. The screen is easy to use, it brews fast and coffee comes out piping hot. I got this on a black Friday deal for about $135 and that feels like a steal for what this machine does and the quality of coffee. Absolutely love it and highly recommend.

Our favorite!
This is one of the best purchases we have ever made! The design of this coffee machine, which can brew coffee, espresso, cappuccino, macchiato, and lungo, latte, is brilliant—no mess at all! Although we love cappuccinos, our previous machine was difficult to operate, and the frother created a mess. Eventually, it just sat unused on the counter. In contrast, this new machine is incredibly easy to operate, consistently produces perfect cups every time, and is SO EASY TO CLEAN! Surprisingly, I thought I would only use it for the fancy milk-based coffees, but I actually prefer the 8 oz coffee it makes over any other coffee I've had. To me, the milk coffees are a real treat, but my husband has a couple every day and loves them. We did purchase a second glass cup because we use them frequently. Although my husband just drinks his cappuccino out of the glass cup, I prefer to pour it into a mug. It looks just as pretty! We use this product about six times a day and utilize all its features. Every coffee option is delicious, and our guests really enjoy it. We also offer a variety of syrups, cinnamon, and raw sugar for our guests to choose from. Overall, it is fun, tasty, and easy for everyone to use. To use the double shot feature, you must get the LavAzza Gold Selection 2 (50 cents each). There are other options you can try for the single, but we like the LavAzza expert espresso Classico (40 cents each). We buy the pods on Amazon. They are very reasonable. I highly recommend! We have had it now for 3 months and just did our first descale. Super easy directions to follow.

Who would have thunk!
I'm now into day two with this espresso maker and can definitely say I am in love with this machine. I have always been a coffee lover, but have veered away many years ago from the big barista's out there due to the price and poor quality (bitter/overbrewed/sitting in tank too long). I can say I researched these machines extensively and didn't want to pay $500. I decided on this machine based on the reviewer's comments on taste & system functionality. The only drawback that I really could see was that for some, the system just stopped working all together on one random day, short of being one year old. I got around this one based on one commenter's suggestion that if you purchase this machine, make sure you get an extended warrantee. To ease my potential future pain, I purchased a 3 year kitchen protection plan since it was Prime day when I made my purchase - Now I can drink this absolutely magnificent tasting coffee for a fraction of the cost, all in the comfort of my home knowing I got 3 years with no worries. Update: I'm now a week into this with an average of 3 cups per day and am still loving it! I really cannot get a grip on some of these negative reviews when I am having such a wonderful experience with this machine and the product it so easily produces. No, I hate K-cup coffee, so if you're thinking I like weak coffee, that's not the answer. I love dark roasted deep, complex coffee with no bitter after-taste which Lavazza delivers on with no manual frother!

I wanted to love it but had too many issues
I bought this coffee machine after months of figuring out which one would give me the authentic cappuccino I have had for years with my Tassimo. I had real milk and espresso pods with Tassimo and needed something that made milk based drinks as well as regular good coffee without many steps. The Expert Classy Plus fit the bill because I didn't have to use a separate frother like Nespresso or have flavored coffee with Keurig. My machine works ok, but I was told by Lavazza technical service that the amount of water dispersed into the holding capsule compartment is normal and on occasion the pod needs to be nudged in place, or it will get stuck. Both issues bother me, and don't think any amount of water should be the norm for an empty compartment of used capsules. The amount of coffee in each capsule is more than Nespresso which gives a bolder taste which I like, but I still might return it as I have 30 days. Wish Tassimo was still a current machine with easy to order available compatible coffee. Lavazza is the number one coffee in Italy, and it is authentic, but the machine seems to need some tweaks, so I am on the fence at this point as to what the alternative is. Mine could be defective, as others who have the same machine do not have water accumulated in the capsule storage in the machine. I would need a replacement to find out. What to do...what to do...UPDATE 4.24.23 Around two weeks ago the machine started leaking water from the bottom all over my counter and I wrote to Lavazza again explaining the timeline of defective issues which they were aware of with this new one added and did not get any solution to date. I am positive I got a defective unit, as all Lavazza machines can't be this way. Two stars is for the coffee taste and ability to make a real cappuccino in one process, not my experience with a defective unit. I called Amazon in my despair and explained the chain of events, and they refunded my money! I am very grateful for the great customer service Amazon provides and appreciate their diligence in helping me. THANK YOU AMAZON!

Extraordinary!
For years I had the saeco intensa and for years I hated cleaning it. The coffees were great but the cleaning process was time consuming. I bought this one hoping it would easier to clean without losing the flavor and intensity of a great espresso. I could not be happier with this machine! The drinks are magnificent and the foam is incredible! The best part, it’s easy to clean, almost effortless! It looks great on the counter and I have more counter space. I could not be happier especially since it is 1/5 the price of a saeco. I forgot to mention… it’s almost silent! Thank you LavAzza!

Great cappuccino and coffee!
I love this coffee maker! It is so easy to use, not too large, looks nice, and does an excellent job steaming soymilk for cappuccinos! I also love the regular coffee it makes. I think the price is wonderful consider the steaming function. It is also easy to maintain, and the coffee pods are reasonably priced, imo. My only complaint is the decaf pods. That coffee seems quite weak, so I only use it for the cappuccino function, where it works fine. It might be fine for an espresso size cup, but not the large size, which is what I drink. Otherwise, I love it and am happy that I got it. Fyi, you must use the Lavazza coffee pods, they are not regular Keurig type pods.

The Milk frother can get stuck and burn you, it does not stop.
I loved using this in Italy, the original, I love a good coffee, and this was a great machine for the first few months. Then when using it, the milk would continue to froth, never releasing coffee, and the hot milk poured up to the very top, and when I removed it , got burned . I have done everything right, I put it just on a espresso mode…no coffee. I tried every mode, no coffee, every milk mode, it continued to whip and froth in a fury, no coffee. I have spent a lot of time trying to get this returned to be fixed. Nothing. I bought this at full price. So when one went on sale, I bought it, I now have two. I am hoping this second one continues to work, if not I have told both Amazon and the company itself the problem, so I will record any future issues, since this is from Italy, it needs to go back to Italy to be fixed. It would have been great had they done that.

Incredible Machine!
I originally looked at the Lavazza Blue Classy Mini and then saw the Extra Classy Plus for cheaper than the Mini. I've had a higher end K-cup machine as well as a pump driven Gaggia Classic espresso machine. I've never had a machine like this and it works flawlessly. After using all 3, I'll stick with the Lavazza Classy Plus. Just as good of espresso without the mess of cleanup of a dedicated espesso machine. I was concerned that the frother top lid would be some cheap plastic. However, I saw that it was of a semi-flexible thick rubbery plastic and it is not brittle. The machine works flawlessly. Even my wife, who does not drink coffee, was impressed that I could make a macchiato with almond milk in less than 1 minute. Setup is easy, the machine is very sleek, very quiet and puts out coffee bar quality coffee. I also made my first espresso lungo with the push of a button. It still had a thick Crema on top. The other thing I like about this particular brand is the low cost of their coffee. It is much cheaper per capsule than K-Cup or Nespresso. You're able to get top notch espresso of a very similar quality as a coffee bar for around 30 cents per shot. To me, that is just a great deal. Right now, Amazon has an incredible deal on this machine. I think it was $138. Heck, the Mini Blue which only does shots of espresso is $178! Why not get the larger machine that can do so many other drinks, is able to use both Lavazza Blue or Extra capsules and also has a much larger water tank? I do not regret this purchase at all. Beautiful machine! BTW, the handle is metal, mechanism is smooth and the sidewalls are of a glossy deep blue. VERY pretty on the countertop.
