Hidden Valley Original Ranch Condiment and Dressing, Easy Squeeze Bottle, 16 Fl Oz (Package May Vary)

It used to be that food staples consisted of flour, sugar, and perhaps rice. Our food staples are, cheese, bacon and RANCH!!! We literally ditched the mayo. It goes in our egg salad, tuna salad, baked potatoes, fries, potato/ and mac salads, and the list goes on. We use Ranch with catsup and sweet relish and make our own 1000 Island dressing. We use the powder to season our pork chops and make dips. How can one live without this stuff! LOL!

Eat

Hidden Valley Ranch is the only shelf stable ranch I will buy - otherwise I'll make my own at home. Kraft and others have nothing in comparison. Boathouse and other refrigerated varieties are also generally ok. I rarely eat any processed food...but ranch...it's my weakness. At least we eat more veggies with it!

WHY won't my husband try ANY other dressing but Ranch? It drives me completely NUTS! We order out every night because of my health, and even from restaurants with GREAT dressings, he ALWAYS orders RANCH!!!!WHY would someone do that?????????So at home if the dressing is left out of take-out or if I make a salad, HIDDEN VALLEY RANCH is always in our refrigerator. The packets of this to which you add a couple of ingredients IS better, but that has a limited shelf life. Apparently, my husband who ALWAYS orders chocolate ice cream or orange sherbet and ALWAYS uses Ranch dressing is unchangeable and, well, very unimaginative and has no need for change or adventure!!!!!It drives me nuts! I NEVER add this to a salad I do NOT ever eat monosodium glutamate intentionally! WHY is this ingredient STILL in this dressing?If you are a migraine sufferer, this dressing might best be avoided according to studies on monosodium glutamate and susceptible people. And Americans eat this by the tons every single year. At least this monosodium glutamate is clearly stated as it has MANY names of disguise, especially if yeast derivatives are added to products...….

Just like it should be

There are only a few salad dressings I always keep on hand and Hidden Valley Ranch is one of them. It is a dressing as well as a dip for veggies. I sometimes mix it with Blue Cheese Dressing to tone it down when the Blue Cheese is too strong for my preference. I’ve tried other brands but I like this one the best.
