Es plástico de muy buena calidad. Todo campista y ante de las actividades al aire libre debe tener un contenedor de huevos como este, pues protege adecuadamente los huevos para usarlos sin problema a la hora de consumirlos. Es muy útil para transportarlos en mochila o en cualquier recipiente donde se llevan otras provisiones durante las salidas para campismo o senderismo. A mí me funciona muy bien acomodandolos en el baúl de mi motocicleta, junto a latas y bolsas conteniendo comestibles durante mis salidas de excursión y rutas.
