Good for planting cuttings and bulbs. Well made and really works

I purchased this to assist me in making holes in the ground to plant tree saplings easier in tough ground.It was taking too much time and effort to dig holes in hard ground that I attach this to my drill and place it into the ground. It is very quick and does the job. Only down side is that you have to pull off the dirt sometimes where I think it goes round so fast that it clogs up.But despite this, it makes the job so much easier.It fits well into the drill and is very strong. Comes in two sizes, which is great as I have since used both.

Used this to bore some holes in a particular difficult area of the garden. Worked great.

Used the smaller one for planting bulbs in the garden. Great time saver and creates a much neater job.

It just loosen the soil but cannot replace traditional bulb planter which conveniently make a sharp nearly circular column for you to plant bulb deep inside with accurate height.

Good service arrived on time. Product is well made. Used to drill out for 4 fence posts so holes were around 300mm square around 300 to 400mm deep. Soil was good quality without substantial stones. All 4 dug out within 2 hours. Augers are well made and show very little signs of use after. Any kickback and sticking easily handled with reversing the cordless drill.The "nearly" rating is because the larger of the two is difficult to get started in anything but very sandy soil. The small one did 90% of the work breaking up the soil for easy removal by trowel or hand. Work down in stages about half way each time but you'll soon get the feel for it. Suggest stripping any surface grass away first from work area as it can bind on the spiral blade.Wish I'd got these years ago. Recommend on value for money.

Absolutely love these, they make light work of my heavy clay soil. Dunno how I survived without them. Have used them to start holes for met posts and to dig the holes to plant some ferns, great bit of kit. I highly recommend.

These augers work perfectly with your electric drill add attachment on & prep your flower holes in seconds! Saves so much time digging - every hole is exactly the size of the bit & can go as deep as 6 inches!

This tool worked better than I expected. It makes planting easy. I use it all the time in the garden.I should also say that it feels solid and very durable. I don't expect it will ever break.
