Nicely Made, Works Very Well, Easy to Use, Great Value
This action camera gimbal works great and is nicely priced! The overall build quality feels well-made and doesn't feel cheap. It is very easy to set up and get working. The most important thing to remember is to take off all the locks from the motors (and put them back on when not in use). These are important and do a good job protecting the motors. The built in battery lasts for a good while and doesn't take long to fully charge. A cable is included in the box and you can also charge it from a power bank, if need be.The gimbal feels very nice in the hands and isn't too heavy to hold even for an extended period of time. They used what feels like a higher quality plastic and I love the black/grey color. This is a perfect size if you ask me and it's very easy to take with you on the go. They even include a nice hard carrying case which fits everything inside. It does a great job stabilizing the footage when walking or running. I've tried with this my SJCams (I have multiple) & Omso Action Cameras and it worked with no issues. The app is nicely made and works just fine on my android phone. There are a lot of different features and settings that can be changed/used in the app to help you make your best videos - this is easy to use and figure out. You don't have to use the app (after you set it up for the first time) if you don't want to, just be sure to read the instructions on the what the different buttons on the gimbal do. The instructions are well written and easy to follow. All things considered, I really love this action camera gimbal and I am very impressed they packed this much build quality into a relatively cheap price. If you do a lot of filming with your action camera or are just in the market for a gimbal, I would highly recommend having this one!

It's Great
I have the Hero 8. I don't remember if they had variations within the 8 series, but if so, I have the top. I always buy the best I can so that I don't regret it later. The one thing that I really wanted, is automatic leveling of the horizon. It can be done with the 8, but it requires processing the video after the fact. Forget that. This gimbal solves that problem for GoPro models 8 and lower. As you probably know, model 9 was the first model to solve the problem internally without the need for downstream processing. This gimbal looks deceptively complex at first glance, but it's actually a piece of cake to figure out and use. The manual looks thick, but that's just because it is in many different languages.Although it has multiple buttons and switches, you could figure them out without reading the manual. But I highly recommend reading the short manual so that you are doing everything the way you should. One thing the manual doesn't explain is the use of the trigger switch. That switch is for "Sports" mode. But it isn't explained. I correctly guessed that it makes the gimbal follow quick-moving subjects (when you turn the camera, it turns more quickly).A nice thing about placing the camera on the gimbal is that you don't have to balance it like on gimbals for larger cameras. That's because small cameras like the GoPro are so light, that the motors can easily move them without much inertia to battle. The one irritating thing about setting my GoPro 8, is that it was tricky. In other words, it requires a little fiddling around to get just right. They should have designed an easier way to attach the camera. That would be my only complaint. The fact that the gimbal is splash-resistant is important to me. GoPros after all, are made to get wet. I intend to use this while kayaking and on wet rides at amusement parks.

HORRIBLE!!! Trust me🤦🏼♂️
This thing is a total joke!! When you pan side to side with joystick there’s jitters really bad making video useless. The gimbal actually does movement by itself without you even moving. Ya it’s only 100 bucks but absolutely should not be on the market it horrible and I returned it! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND CHECK OTHERS ON THE MARKET!! It’s unbelievable they would even put something so crappy on the market🤦🏼♂️👎🏼 5 thumbs down

Easy to use, works well
I ordered this a few weeks ago but got really busy and didn’t have time to try it. But today was the day. I have to say I’m very happy with it.The instructions were easy to follow, and the app is intuitive and easy to use. I quickly mounted my DJI Osmo Action and played with it around the house for about an hour. I tried it in pan-follow, pan-tilt follow, and lock modes. I also set it to timelapse mode. All performed admirably.I found it easy to operate. The buttons and controls are far enough apart that I am not pressing them accidentally. The app was easy to download and works quite well to control the gimbal. Unfortunately, it doesn’t control the camera. Apparently, it only controls a GoPro and not the DJI. That’s a fault that should be fixed given that DJI is a major brand. The only problem I had was testing the calibration. I got it wrong and ended up with it calibrated so the motor was on the right-hand side instead of the left. The camera was also pointing backward. But once I figured it out it worked just fine. It was more a problem with the operator, not the gimbal.I’m not sure how long it takes to charge the batteries. I put it on the charger before I went to bed, and they were charged completely when I woke up. So far, the gimbal has been running for about 3 hours and the charge indicator is still four green lights. It comes with a variety of cables and a soft case. The case is kind of cheap, but I’ll probably carry the device in my camera bag without the case. It is priced slightly higher than similar products on Amazon.
