Good bulb for price
Lamps good, have lasted, give off more heat than a regular heating bulb, not as cheap as say Lowe’s but works great

Bulb Died an Untimely Death
This light bulb didn't even last a month and was only on 12 hours/day. Maybe it was the seller sending an old bulb to me? I'm disappointed I'm just outside of the return window.

hottest 50watt bulb
this bulb produces alot of heat for only 50 watts. no complaints. i hope it lasts a long time. its been going strong for a few months now

Burn out WAY too fast
These bulbs tend to burn out in less than 30 days. I got this most recent bulb on June 29 and it burned out by July 12. I find this incredibly frustrating. The bulb spends 12 hours a day on and 12 hours a day off as recommended by the reptile specialist. I don’t understand why these bulbs just do not last. This has happened with every single one I’ve bought. Lesson finally learned.

Horrible
This is the third bulb I had to order, first 2 came in broken, FINALLY got one that worked, and blew on the 31st day, now I can’t return it and I’m out $20 and have to wait for another one to come in. It also has a really bad concentration point and gets way to hot in that spot, not waste your money.

Set up and got up to heat fine, then blew!! Possibly just randomly faulty as not had an issue with these before

Lesson learned in purchasing these fragile items online is the risk of damaged products. And between time being wasted to return/ refund etc. it’s also just adding to more waste. It was easier for us to buy from a local pet shop in our neighbourhood.

Installed 2 of these bulbs in separate terrariums. I wore nitrile gloves and did not touch the face of the bulb to prevent oils from my hands. I turned on the first bulb and it tripped the 15 amp breaker despite being the only thing plugged in to that circuit. That is not normal. After re-setting the breaker I got both bulbs installed. Their heat output was poor for the wattage. One burned out within a day, the other burned out later in the week. And these bulbs seriously burned out, unlike any bulbs I have seen before. The porcelain became oxidized orange and scorched black in the threads. My fixtures are designed for livestock heaters and are rated for 250 watts, I use heavy gauge wire. A 75 watt bulb should not be doing that. I would say these are a legitimate fire hazard. I have a suspicion these bulbs are nominally rated for 120v but designed for 110v. Many houses are supplied electricity with a tolerance range to 125v. Halogen bulbs react poorly to even minor over voltage. That is my best guess
