Amazing Boat! I’ve been an R/C enthusiast for the ...
Amazing Boat! I’ve been an R/C enthusiast for the better part of 40 yrs and have to say this is the best, most fun R/C boat I have ran across. The boat is very fast, extremely durable and responsive. Great control range as well, I’m running the boats on a 3.5 acre lake and have full control across the entire lake. The boat is approx. 12 inches in length, water cooling intake port on bottom, power on/off sensor on the bottom, flip sensor on the top, USB charged battery. I purchased two of these boats for some afternoon fun with friends, I was not disappointed, these boats are a blast! If you’re into the bump & grind, side by side racing, these quick little boats can be very exciting. We’ve done about everything you could do to a R/C boat… Side swiping each other rolling boats over the top of one another, (I can assure you the self-righting feature works great!) accidentally catching a rogue waves near shore launching the boat into surrounding bushes, running them into kayaks & docks, and often crashing them into one another or other R/C boats. Regardless of what we have put these boats through they continue to work flawlessly with no damage. I ordered two boats the first go around, I’m back to order an additional two boats and spare batteries. Extend the fun, BUY SPARE batteries! The charge last approx. 20 minutes. When the low battery alarm begins to sound I have been getting an additional 3-5 minutes of use until it begins to slow then it has to be brought to shore. My only caution would be watch the motor/battery temperature. The motor has a liquid cooling system that picks up water on the bottom rear and exits it out to the side. Keep an eye on the water inlet port so that is stays clear of debris so water can flow through the system. Great boats, I’ve bought 4 of them now w/ 4 spare batteries.

Great r/c boat, highly reccomend
Fantastic little boat. My son and I love it. Very fast, tight turns and good range. Battery life is ok, lasts about 10 minutes or so. Would highly reccomend getting a couple spare batteries. Still waiting on my spares but they ship from china so it takes awhile. Boat shipped quickly as it came from amazon warehouse. My only complaints are the wheel on the controller is a bit sticky so sometimes u have to return it to the center, almost like the spring isnt strong enough or it needs some lube. It gets a lot of water in the hull as well. I had to keep draining the water out during use or it would get really heavy and not get up on plane. Ill have to inspect it in the tub and try to seal the leaks up a bit. But the sensitive components are sealed up in a compartment pretty good. It has variable forward speed which is cool too. Some rc boats are only off and full throttle, but not this one. For $50 you cant beat it. Be careful letting young ones drive it tho, it is just plastic. All in all, id highly reccomend this purchase to anyone. I even talked my brother into getting one. Youtube.com has some good videos of it as well if u wana see it run before u purchase.

Great Boat
I’ve owned a few RC’s in my life and this is by far the best value dollar for dollar. The boat will not run until it’s in the water which is nice because I don’t have to worry about hurting it by bumping the throttle while it’s out of the water. It has good battery life and the remote notifies you when the battery is low AND when the boat is almost out of the receiver’s reach. It also has steering trim adjustment as well as torque trim for the motor. The boat’s rudder does turn to the left sharper than the right but if you adjust the torque trim you can make it where the boat will roll to the right allowing it to turn very sharp regardless of the limited steering on the right. This boat is fast for its size and extremely fun to rip around. If you are hesitant because of the price, don’t think twice and buy it! It’s great for adults and kids but if you are more serious into RC and you’ve got some extra cash I would recommend spending more for a small brushless boat. Overall, incredible quality and I would recommend this to anyone interested in it!

why isint this in your cart already?? beware cheap knockoffs.
Just purchased another of these boats and still impressed. had originally bought the black one for my sons birthday about a year ago and finally had some extra money to get another. we have the black one and this orange one, both are able to be run at the same time, no more worrying about being on the same frequency. Both boats are extremely fast for the size, and can practically turn on a dime at higher speeds. the self righting feature alone should sell this boat, I hit a dead fish about 50 feet out on the lake and the boat flipped over. all you need is a quick forward and backward on the throttle and the boat will flip back over and you are on your way again. just a note on where you use this, needs to be in a larger pond at least (no pools) and if there are lots of weeds, grasses or sticks in the water be careful. grass and other things will catch on the 2 fins and rudder and can make turning near impossible. on my review of the black model about a year ago I mentioned building battery packs because replacement batteries were not available, well now you can purchase them relatively cheap and would definitely recommend. both our boats will get about 10 minutes on a charge.Update dec 2018: just got another one of these for christmas, its red. I dont know if there are chineese knockoffs of this boat but the new one has some serious issues. First try in the water it would barely move. Compared it to my other ones i have and it is extremely nose heavy. Pulled apart and found that circuit board was sealed in a rubber to keep water out, this added 0.04 pounds to the front end (i compared weight between all 3, 2 older ones were the same and new one heavier). Second issue i found was there is a really thick oil inside prop shaft, might be a good idea to not use a sticky one. Prop had so much drag on it even with motor removed. I tried to clean out but it only made a little difference. I ended up putting all the guts from the new one into my old orange one that was having issues powering on. Out of the 3 we now have, the first black boat we bought for about $130 5 years ago is the only one that has always worked flawlessly, always gets up on the water and flys along. Orange one has some issues getting up on the water ocasionally. Didnt get a chance to retest the orange one with the new red guts yet, to dark outside. If you get one of these that work well they are very fun, i think there are some new manufacturing issues that need addressed, or there are knockoffs . All of these issues im moving my 5 stars down to 3
