Bob mills brownies
My favorite brownies and they’re healthier than the bakery store ones. It’s easy prep work and to bake. They’re not dried out either and taste really good.

After getting the rosy good news that I have Celiac
After getting the rosy good news that I have Celiac, I embarked on the path to discover which products where the best for me. It's been a fascinating journey, I tell ya. There is a plethora of products available ( for which I'm told I'm very lucky I was diagnosed now and not 10 years ago ), all of which are much more expensive then their gluten counterparts. That said, glad to have a choice. What's most interesting is how different the products are from one another - not all gluten free pancake mixes are equal and there appears to be no relationship between price and quality and taste. So it took me a while to find Bob's Red Mill products. They are not the most expensive, yet their pancakes, cookies and brownies are the best I've come across. This is my taste and opinion - so the big take away from this review is to explore to find what you like and don't settle on the first thing you purchase. I was suffering from a poor pancake brand for months ( won't mention names ) which is much more expensive than Bob's thinking it was the best I could get since it was the highest price - big mistake, there is nothing in common between these brands ( I even check out others and they're all different! ). So if you're suffering like me, don't give up, keep shopping to find something you like. In my humble opinion, after trying 5 pancake brands, Bob's was the best. Same for cookies and now these brownies ( but I've only tried 1 other brownie brand at this point ). The pancakes are so good, they actually compare with gluten mixes. These brownies are simply amazing.

Best gluten free brownie mix that we've tried - and we've been trying for 30+ years
I've had my issues in the past with Bob's Red Mill (resolved, but still a sore point for me in the way they handled it), so for me to give one of their products a 5-star rating says a huge amount. We've tried many different gluten free chocolate brownie mixes, and just have to keep coming back to Bob's Red Mill's product. It's the best. And when you shop for it with a bit of research, you can generally save considerably on the cost when compared to most of the inferior brands, as well. With the issue we had (with this product specifically) a number of years ago, I was surprised to finally decide to give it another try. But the taste and texture are simply better than anything else out there that we've found, except for a home-made recipe my wife makes. In Bob's favor, we have never been disappointed again with this product, and have chalked the one bad experience up to "just one of those rare but highly unfortunate things that happens." It's still hard to recommend Bob's because of the experience (it was that bad!), but in fairness I have to. And 5-star ratings are not easy to get out of this family.

Surprisingly Good
I like Bob's Red Mill products. I was reluctant to purchase a gluten free product as I have tried other gluten free food items and they didn't taste very good at all. I don't suffer from Celiac disease but I wanted to buy this to give as gifts to some friends who do suffer from the disease and another friend who is just avoiding gluten. Before I gave it as gifts I tried them first. I was very impressed. I prepared it per the instructions and they came out really well and tasty. I made another package but I added a couple tablespoons of coconut oil to the mix this time. To me they seemed to come out a little more the way I like, softer and moister. Of course geographical locations definitely have an effect on how things cook. I'm in Phoenix so the oil may be helping to compensate for how dry it is here. I made another package when a friend came over and brought his 5 year old granddaughter. This time I added some chocolate chips along with the coconut oil. Yes, they were very good!

Yummy
On my first try with this product, following the directions on the packet, the mix didn't look right. So, I added lots of pecans, and a little dry lowfat milk powder, and a good dose of liquid almond milk. I think almond milk with vanilla or sweetened would work too, but I used what I had - the plain non-sweetened. I also added some water in the mix to bring it to the right (to me) texture, stirred it all up, and poured it into a greased shallow baking pan, then sprinkled sunflower seed generously on top. I cooked it at 350 Deg. rather than 325 per the directions, and for a longer time as well. Very yummy outcome. Next batch, I'll substitute coconut oil for the butter.

Tastes like the real thing!
My niece is sensitive to gluten so I got this for her since she's quite the brownie fan. I tried it after she baked a batch and was really surprised at how good it was - moist, and great chocolate flavor. In fact, I like these better than any other packaged brownie mix I've ever had. Not as good as scratch-made (but then again, what package mix is), but excellent all-round. I'll be buying more for myself to keep on hand for gluten-sensitive friends.I've noticed that gluten free baked goods sometimes don't stay fresh as long as regular items. Can't say if that's the case for these brownies - they were all gone in a day!Highly recommend.

Perfect brownie....
Received Super Bowl Sunday....made a batch....what a treat ! ( Thank you Amazon/USPS Sunday delivery arrangement. )A richer chocolate experience; but, not overly sweet, like traditional box mixes. Crunchy, on the outside.....moist and rich, on the inside.I have severe arthritis. Easiest ever box to open, as well as brownie mix package !I pre-mixed the eggs and lukewarm melted butter, together, first. Then, added brownie mix.I used an 8x8 glass pan, sprayed with Pam.Did not go by time; but, by toothpick test of slightly moist.Texture and taste, perfect. Did not experience any problems. I do not need gluten-free. This was a choice.
