I sell grounding products, but I don't have small grounding rods for camping. I bought this because it was 14 dollars and I love copper. Copper travels better than a lot of metals. Silver is more for surface. Anyway, it doesn't fit my grounding cords for my products. I made mine really universal. It fits their wrist bands. The copper rod itself is very sturdy and worth the 14 dollars. I am going to keep this and try and make a way to connect my product to it. The wires they have here are too long and I don't know what metal it is. I have copper speaker wire I will use to attach to the copper rod. Like I said copper is great for distance connection. I will get this to my silver bed pad somehow. I keep saying what the hell out loud. Lol I give this 4 stars for an interesting attempt. Great copper rod. :)

Product is good. My connecting ends broke but I blame most of it on myself. I jerry rigged it so I'm doing ok. Just be careful with cord getting caught on something while walking around lol. Overall I'm satisfied.

HiI just bought the item so I will check the wear and tear in about a weekI will get a multimeter tomorrow to check if it is conductingI want to know from anyone or the manufacturer - what is the warantee as there isn't any on the box?Also the connection is plastic and metal and this plugs into the copper nail that gets stuck in the groundIm wondering how durable is this plastic plug into the copper nail - is it ok if it gets very wet?I bought it to connect a sleeping mat to the mountain I live on but It rains a lot hereSo Im wondering if that plug would actually hold upIt also gets very windy - I put all the chords on the ground and in bushes none to blow aroundHow durable are these and whats the warantee on it?I just assumed. - since it was a grounding rod - that it would either be really well made and strongOr it should definitely be waterproof etcSo just checking. - and also the waranteeWill keep this product page posted with the wear and tear of the product

The wiring is very small which may be sufficient for grounding. But it comes loose from the connectors too easily. The small wire is so too small to work with trying to repair. The connectors are way too weak. It was too expensive for the quality. I would have been better to create my own for the price.

The wristband lasted 2 days before the cheap wire was no longer grounding the wristband. Luckily they sent an alligator clip and I was able to clip it on the wristband to get a ground again. I paid for the more expensive product thinking it was better quality, but I was wrong. The rod was the only good quality item in this package. Just buy the cheaper brand and you will be just as happy.

Sucks! Just spent two hours trying to untangle the 68 ft or so of green wire that tangles… dub! Why not offer ports so can add or reduct length if need be, Its still tangles! Next time put some common sense thought into it!!!

It may have worked for the week that it was together. It only took that long to break so I really don't know whether it was a waste of money or not. I didn't feel enough of a change that I'll replace it.

I was very excited to start using my grounding equipment so I can get better sleep at night. I woke in the middle of the night to find the wire had come out of the connection and I have no way to make it stay there except to tape it or glue it I guess, still might have to return it if it doesn't stay together.
