Worked well for cleaning and re-oiling my K&N air filter.

Perfect for cleaning your air intake. I've used this product for years and was so excited to see I could order it on Amazon! Super easy to use and has a pretty long duration. I usually reapply once the color has faded. I frequently travel so I usually apply it anywhere from 2-6 months at a time. I've never had a bad experience with the brand or product. Customer service is always excellent and they will be more than happy to answer any questions about the application. Usually you will feel a difference in performance, although some vehicles you might not notice at all. But that doesn't mean your oil filter is dirty. I have a big 5.7L hemi that performs greatly after the application of the K&N air filter cleaner.

I have a 2018 subaru impreza. Simply replacing the air filter is easier. But l can say that the k&n filter seems to be a better filter. Cleaning it once/yr is not difficult, but time consuming. I would suggest getting the spray oil instead of the squirt-on oil. That will save u some time. Over time, the cost will be less. Plus, better on the environment because of less waist.

Now days , it’s unsure of customer is actually getting product from the manufacturer etc. There so many different countries that are making imitations . Some imitations are 95 % exact as the actual name brand . When I come to liquids , it easy to make imitations and all they have to do is make the container and the packed just like the name brand . I hope that this KN cleaning kit is actual name brand and not a knockoff , why ? Because after clean the air flyer and you have to spray this chemical on it to filter the air , some of this chemicals carry in to motor . Do not need the chemicals ( it being imitation ) well developed and cause damage , the original name brand KN cleaning kit from the actual manufacturer well not , as long you do put to much on the filter . Beside all this , KN always makes excellent products and it highly recommended. IMPORTED; to follow the KN instructions to have it function properly.

I've used this product for years (since 2004) in performance cars and continue to trust it to this day.

War erst einmal versucht mir die Filter neu zu kaufen. Habe mich dann für das Reinigungsset entschieden. Den K&N ausgebaut und ordentlich eingesprüht. Benutzt bitte hierfür Einweghandschuhe, da das Spray Fettlöser enthält. Eure Hände werden es euch Danken. Danach in der Dusche mit warmen Wasser ausgespült. Junge was für ein Dreck da raus kommt, werde beim nächsten mal nicht wieder 60.000 KM warten. Danach ordentlich abtropfen lassen, bitte nicht auf den Duschrand klopfen, die Rippen vom Filter werden krumm. Danach auf die Heizung gelegt und schön langsam trocknen lassen. Nach der Trocknung das Öl benutzt, war ja klar, viel zu viel, so dass ich über die hälfte in die Papiertücher verloren habe (hatte übrigens mein Vorredner auch gesagt) Mein Tipp, stellt den Filter schräg hin, und gießt das Öl auf die Lamellen und wartet bis es hinunterläuft. Dauert zwar ein bisserl, aber Ihr opfert nicht die ganze Flasche. Das Reinigungskitt langt für zwei Filter, sofern Ihr das Öl wie beschrieben, verwendet. Wichtig vor Beginn mit dem Reinigen: Einweghandschuhe -> Hände Papiertücher -> zum abwischen und abtropfen Zeitungspapier -> Filter darauf lagern Und Spülmittel oder ähnliches -> Dusche oder Waschbecken säubern (Gibt sonst Megastress mit Gattin oder Mutter) Autopolitur als Alternative macht die Dusche oder Waschbecken wieder Blitzblank und bitte nur bei Keramikbecken. Verbundstoff mit Autopolitur = einmal Neu oder Auszug... ;-) Ansonsten viel Spass
