Nothing fancy, but easy to install and functions as expected
The blind I ordered was perfect length so I didn't have to deal with any cuts. We peeled the adhesive protector off, stuck the blind up, and off we went. It's been almost 2 weeks and it's still doing fine. You are getting what you pay for.It does block light. It is lightweight....comparable to the thickness of heavy duty aluminum foil.I can't speak to the longevity beyond 2 weeks. I wouldn't use words like 'sturdy' to describe it.Overall though, it looks like expected, works as expected, and we will continue to use it until it gives up on us.

I love these blinds!
I am a 50 something year old female. I installed these blinds in the windows on the back of my house. Not difficult at all, just need to read instructions and have a good knife. I was quoted well over $2000 from a budget blind company for their blinds. These are way less expensive and they look nice. I did need to reinforce the adhesive strip with double sided mounting tape on a couple of the blinds, because the blinds did not stick well. But this was an easy fix.

Not too bad
Not too bad, a bit expensive compared to those you find at HD. Just read the instructions, you have to cut from both sides. Ex.if you are 2 inches too wide then cut 1 inch on each side.

An absolute waste of money
OK, so I purchased these because they appeared to be of higher quality than some of the cheap paper adhesive blinds. Sadly, I was wrong.I ordered back in June but for a variety of reasons didn't get around to hanging them up until today. I followed the instructions, which are pretty poor and don't provide many illustrations. It says to use the plastic cutting guard, to align to the desired width after measuring the window, and to then use a sharp kitchen knife to cut to size. This is similar to the previous blinds I ordered and I had no issues with those.I'm a 210lb athletic male and I could. Not. Cut. Through this thing. The top and bottom have a very thick plastic (seems more like metal!) trim that sandwiches the paper blinds, and trying to get the knife to cut through this material was next to impossible. I have included photos so that you can see what the end result was.The plastic cutting guard is NOT the correct size and left a huge gap of space, which only made the cutting more difficult. As I struggled with all my might to get the knife to cut through the outer trim, the gap in the plastic guard caused the knife to cut at an angle. When I finally got through the plastic top/bottom, the plastic did not detach at a straight angle -- it ended up cracking and splintering, as you can see in the picture.I don't know if I received a defective one or what, but this is one of the most disappointing things I've ever ordered on Amazon and a hugely frustrating experience all around. Because I waited too long, it's no longer eligible for a return either, so I may as well have thrown $30 in the trash can.DO. NOT. BUY.

The white has a bluish tint
These blinds I bought for a rental property. They were sturdy enough and easy to hang. I ordered them in white and one was sent in a natural color and the white has a blueish tint that I am not fond of. So I am giving them 3 stars for their value and durability but I do not like the way they look.

Finally - uninterrupted sleep!
I got two sets of these blinds. Light filtering for my room and light blocking for my son's. The windows in my room had enough clearance and the blinds didn't need to be cut at all. We installed the blinds and my room looks gorgeous, beautiful filtered light, blinds are easy to pull down and the adhesion is great. LOVE them.Going by how well that worked we got the light blocking for my son's room as he gets woken up daily when the sun rises. He installed them last night and this morning he slept past sunrise for the first time in weeks. His room looks so cozy, I love it. One note is that his blinds had to be cut 1" to fit within the clearance of the window frame and the cutting was a bit tricky. We tried a few knives and got the hang of it and don't fret - even if the edge is a little wonky, you have the edge covers to cover up any imperfections. Also I recommend having two people to help attach the shades to your windows to ensure perfection.Amazing buy for the price and has transformed the two bedrooms where we installed. I highly recommend!!

Easy to install
Easy to cut, holes at cords do let a sign amount of light in, be careful and don’t touch material other than bar at bottom, will reform, but may leave a crease. Adhesive not the strongest for pulling, found putting a could of staples along the top helps tremendously

Not as easy as I thought it was going to be
Yes, a lot of this was user error but this was nowhere near as easy as I thought it was going to be. It says to use a kitchen knife, which I did, and it didn't work. I sharpened the kitchen knife more and it still didn't work. I ended up getting a hacksaw from the hardware store because that's what they told me to use and my God that was a terrible terrible terrible mistake. In addition, when we hung up the blinds, we hug them up the wrong way. Since we were so frustrated with the entire thing, we totally did not even find anything in the directions to realize that there was a way in which they were supposed to hang because one side is pretty and one is not. I wish you more luck than I had
