I bought one of these a few months ago. The SD card read speed is appallingly slow (with all the differently rated cards I have); the XQD card reader is quite slow; and the USB C connector into the laptop isn't sturdy - mine wobbles and sometime disconnects now.

Muy buen lector

This is my second Sony XQD card reader. It works well with Sony XQD SD cards and the Sony CF type G cards. But I mistakenly sold the reader after I bought A Delkin Black CF card & reader for my Nikon Z camera. I did not understand that the Delkin CF card reader would NOT read my Sony CF cards which I kept as backup cards for my Nikon Z camera. So in order to use the Sony CF cards I had to repurchase the Sony CF card reader. I use the Sony cards to backup my Nikon Z settings and download and install Nikon Z camera updates, so the Delkin CF card reader is useless for these tasks. Thankfully, the Sony CF card reader works well and is a reasonable price.

The card reader is well constructed and has functioned without any problems at all
