I got the extra key bundle and programmed two keys - and it worked. At the end of the day, that's 5 stars. I called their tech support before buying and they gladly e-mailed me a PDF of the instructions, so that is also 5 stars. I wanted to be sure I understood the difficulty factor before committing to a purchase.The Good:I bobbled the installation (see below) and thought I had probably fouled the programmer, but nope. Very forgiving to error. That was great. No refund to start again.To avoid my mistake, do not attempt installing the programmer with the engine off. This presents a different challenge, but read on for details.The process was quick. But, BE PREPARED. Read the manual before you start. Twice. Look at where your ODB port is before you start the process. Know which way the port is oriented, as the plug on the programmer only goes in one way. Watch the video on Amazon to see the installation process if you're visual. This helped a lot.The Bad:When attempting step one to activate the key, it took anywhere from 2 to 4 tries of pressing the Unlock and Panic buttons to get the light to turn on. I do not recommend doing this in broad daylight as a dry run, so you can see the light come on. You can reactivate the key more than once, so long as you do so before completing the pairing.When watching the light flash, after pressing Panic and Unlock together the second time, the playback begins IMMEDIATELY. It will look like you might have gotten the first digit wrong. All I can say here is that you have to take it on a bit of faith that if the last two numbers flash correctly, assume you got it right.Know which position RUN is on your ignition. This seems obvious, but on my first attempt, I did not rotate it far enough. Operator error, for sure, but once again, you're trying to move quickly through the process, so pay attention to that detail.The Ugly:I'm not very spatial. Because the instructions indicate that you have to have the doors shut during the process, you're forced to plug in the programmer to your ODB port by feel. This is definitely not my superpower. To ensure I could do it during the process, I tried dry running the installation of the programmer with the engine off. Guess what? It started to chime before I unplugged it. Whoops! Fortunately, I had not fouled the programmer, but I don't know what would have happened had I not immediately removed the connector. Recommend you do not try that, but at least find your ODB port by feel so there's less stress during the process.The Beautiful:If your original key fob is now trash, you do not need to get the blank key tucked into the fob recut. The SimpleKey replacement is so tight on spec, you can remove the key from the old fob, and simply put it in the new fob, and throw the blank away. Cool!

The directions must be read to program. I never read directions but once I did after an hour of being hard headed I was finished in 3-5 minutes tops. Really easy & save money. This device would put key makers out of business. It comes with a blank key 🔑 so you’ll need to get it cut if you need it for something.

Worked perfectly. Took about 5 minutes to read the directions and prepare everything, and less than 5 minutes to program 2 keys. Amazing price and super easy. I definitely recommend.

My fob was lagging, got the battery changed and it still wasn't working correctly, order this and watched the video on how to program it (used the one on youtube) and it works fantastic. Easy to program! Used it for a 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan! We will probably order another one so we have a dependable backup!

Followed the instructions exactly and a new FOB was added and works perfectly. I was confused by the "light on remote will blink" since I do not have any original keys with said lights, but this one does have a tiny light on the face of the remote close to the middle. I also had a new OEM FOB that I had already purchased from the dealership (did not know about this Simple Key before), but with that, I was able to proceed directly to step 2 and successfully programmed that OEM key as well. Highly recommend since new OEM keys are $275 CAD and programming is $60 CAD per FOB.....
