Gala Apples Fresh Produce Fruit, 3 LB Bag

Some of the best apples I have ever had (and Im 48).

They were not as crisp as they should have been! However I cooked them for later use in cake or pie!! Can’t waste food!!

These are the best tasting apples I have ever tasted. But the flavor is not sweet, it is pure flavor. It’s good that the apples are small because I would eat too much if they were large. HOWEVER, in the last shipment it was apparent that the shipper was different than before. The box was not padded with paper and there was wetness on the bottom of the box. One apple was so rotten it was not even recognizable. Fortunately, the other apples were okay and I washed each one with fruit and vegetable cleaner and dried them and stored them in a plastic bag in the refrigerator. I love these apples. I bought another gala apple at a local Safeway store and it was bland compared to these apples.

These are very good. They came pretty fast. They are very fresh. They also did not get any bruising from shipping.

I ate one of these everyday,they're nice and crisp. SLice them while chilled then set them down during snac k time, watch them disappeaer.

You will be paying over A dollar each for a small apple. You don't get it the next day but its fresh when you do. Reminds me if I picked a tree and then loaded up US postal flat rate envelope or box and went into the fruit business. I realize the seller has to make a buck here with their cost. The apples were great but it might just be easier to go to the market on this one. By the time you get the apples you have a sweet tooth for something other and you probably got your apple fix somewhere else before this arrives. I saw all the positive comment and that was my reason for purchase. I thought I would get them sooner because of prime membership but I see no advantage here. They do taste good so I am not a complete grump. I found no fault with the apple.

Beautiful apples, fresh and tasty. Having ordered a number of fresh fruit from Amazon, I will admit that the price is higher than a supermarket, but time and gas saved is worth it to me, maybe not to you. The method of packing and delivery is what may alter the quality of the produce that arrives at your door. Most of the time the shipment is good, only once have I received a shipment that I found mostly useless, bananas :(
