I have multiple autoimmune diseases, trouble swallowing, and other chronic illnesses that often make eating difficult for me. I don’t absorb nutrients very well either.Though I take gummy vitamin and other supplements, I still tested low on several things.My doctors suggested supplementing my diet with a meal replacement shake once a day (or more on days I can’t eat anything).I’ve tried many meal replacement shakes, but I keep coming back to Slimfast. Their strawberry flavor is the best, by far. Other companies strawberry shakes taste like perfume or sour yogurt and are often are really thick. If you shake these up thoroughly, they’re thin enough to swallow without difficulty. They taste best if kept in the fridge for a couple hours.These could probably be more nutritious, but I’m giving them 5 stars since they taste good to me and out of all the shakes I’ve tried, they’re what I can keep down.If you’re vegan, vegetarian and/or intolerant to dairy, you might want to avoid these since they have milk protein in them.

Really like the taste of strawberries and cream. What I like about this higher protein one is it also is only 1 g of added sugars. Carbs are low for a drink like this. Forget but 6 g or 7g per drink of carbs, I believe. It tastes good to me, addictive actually. I know it is likely not a healthy drink but at least I can get some vitamins when needed when I cannot eat properly or have to rush. If you are a health fanatic prob not the kind of thing to put in your body. My order arrived fasts both times I ordered. I prefer this to the banana and cream flavor, by far,

I brought these to control my hunger in the morning. I don’t have time to eat breakfast in the morning! it cause my stomach to rumble in class! but after drinking slim in the mornings, my stomach has stop rumbling during class! the strawberry version is kinda disgusting but I got used to the flavor. it’s alright but it’s not the best flavor.

I don't use these for weight loss, so I can't speak on it's effectiveness. I usually only eat one meal a day, sometimes 2. Never breakfast. It's a horrible habit that I started in high school and seems to have finally caught up with me in my 30s. I no longer have the energy to go all day without nourishment, so enter: Slim Fast. I'll have one of these when I need something in my stomach but don't have an appetite. It does the job. It keeps me satiated for a few hours. I can't say it tastes good, but it's tolerable. It has vitamins, minerals, soy protein, canola oil and a bunch...stuff that I can only identify as "stuff". I honestly don't know if it's healthy. Probably not, considering it's a bottle of processed chemicals...but that's a worry for another time.

My son doesn’t have time to eat in the morning. He sleeps to the last possible minute. He drinks one of these on the way to school and is good until his lunchtime. Great metabolism starter and keeps you full.

The Advanced Nutrition formula is very filling, which is perfect as a meal replacement. After one of these, if I crave something else, I’m pretty much too full to get anything else down for at least an hour or longer.The strawberry flavor isn’t great. It’s better than the orange, but chocolate is by far the best. Vanilla is my second pick, but chocolate is so much better that it’s hard to bother with the other flavors, even if only for variety.

I try to keep these on hand for on-the-go meals. The strawberry is my favorite! Because it's vitamin-enriched, I'll just grab a pack of peanut butter crackers (for the crunch-factor) to eat with the beverage, and I'm satisfied until the next mealtime. I've tried other similar products and find the taste falls short of Slim Fast's deliciousness. And it delivers vitamins without a vitamin-y taste. Plus, as a diabetic, it fits the bill, as it's low-carb and low- sugar. The protein boost is great, too, as sometimes we don't quite get enough over the day.
