I don’t understand the negativity. Don’t order if you feel this bread to coarse , to dry to thiscand that . This is normal for people who didn’t grow up with this type of bread, it us healthy , organic and tastes great to me!!! I toast it and the flavor is even better . I love it , and I will continue to buy it , because it tastes just like I remembered in Germany . Add some Leberwurst and little butter and woahh yesss mhhhh

Not Diabetic friendly, way to high in carbs. Amazing how Shibolom bread isn’t available. Proof that the elites keep removing healthy alternatives from our food supply. Way to thin, has no taste. Will never buy again.

I love this bread ! Grew up on it ! It taste best with cold butter , good cheese and cold cuts . This bread is easy to freeze too , it dies not change the taste , color or texture . I do believe it is still over priced ! The same amount / weight would cost you in Germany about under 1 $ ! I am not kidding! Usually it's about 60 cent in € .same quality, weight and texture as it is in Germany . I have bought it in the USA now the 2nd time . But only because this is the only place where I can get it , if no one is visiting from Germany and deliver it to me .

Will not repurchase it. I like this category or custom made breads and tried many of them. This tastes like food for birds and mine was too wet and got moldy next day.

You had better like nonflour breads, I can eat it by itself but probably better toasted with Marmit and or butter. Others took a bite screwed up there face and said uh yeah no. Buy as a curiosity with caution.

very good for an occasional, with the carnivore diet. It's very German for sure. Which I like the thoughts of that. But it's not something I will buy frequently. Now some of you may just love it and love to make a sandwich out of it. We all have different taste buds.

I liked this and will get more but if you aren't familiar with pumpernickel its different. Refrigerate it first before use otherwise the slices just crumble away. Forget grabbing 2 slices smear the mustard and stack the ham. It will fall apart. So think openface . Cut each slice into 4 squares spread your mustard or butter add the cheese sausage pickle or whatever and enjoy.
