I only need a small amount of power so I put a 5 amp circuit breaker on the input. It works perfect. It’s a military generator so I had to drop the voltage down for 24volts. The minute I turn the battery disconnect on it’s started smoking. Turned it off pulled it out and double checked my wiring. It was all correct. Not happy lucky I didn’t burn down a 10k$ gen set. If I could. I would give it 0 stars. Make sure to do your research.
