I have a friend who is a master mechanic at a dodge dealership, when I told him I bought these keys, he told me it had been his experience, it would be a “hit or miss” if they (not purchased from the dealership for 4x fhe price) if they would even work or not,I am VERY HAPPY to say the work beautifully, even the remote start feature

Had a professional Ram dealership attempt to pair the FOB with my 2013 1500. After several attempts they told me the fob was defective and I needed to contact who I purchased it from. After a few emails back and forth they did offer me a refund however stated they could not verify the dealership was reputable even though I emailed an invoice, and they money I paid to get it paired would not be refunded.The individual I contacted through email stated they tested every product to insure 100% satisfaction and the licensed Ram dealership was misleading me into trying to get me to pay full price and purchase a key FOB from them.

Lock smith had it cut and programmed in 10m worked great.

Received timely, works like a charm. Easy set up, programmed myself. No issues. I would def buy again for my 2017 Ram Diesel 2500.I will take the key and have it keyed as well for a backup. Thanks for a great product.

Decided to spend the extra money and get a factory ram key as opposed to a knock off. It programmed within two seconds and everything works just fine. Locksmith told me he usually runs into problems when people bring in cheap knock off keys instead of OEM units.

Door key does not have hole in it as shown in picture, and the edge snags when inserted into fob. the Door key is extremely tight and hard to remove from fob. The original door key that came with truck with hole is also extremely tight in fob. These are all signs that this in NOT!!! an OEM fob as described in the add. This is the reason for the 2 star review, regardless of if it can be programmed. If programming is possible it will stay 2 stars for not being OEM, if it can't be programmed i will decrease to 1 star. Don't spend the extra money for this OEM key because this is NOT OEM, same key can be purchased for half the price.. update: Programming was successful, but still unsatisfied because I paid a premium for OEM and received generic.
