YAMAHA ABA-5PJ03-00-00 Windshield Zuma 50

i have a 2003 Zuma. It had a windscreen that got clobbered years ago during a move. I decided only recently that i wanted one. This installed easily. it fits perfectly. it looks great. I'm delighted with it! So much so that i ordered another one (different size) for my Zuma 125 :)

Works as intended and fits well

This windshield mounted easily on my Yamaha BWS/Zuma 50cc scooter, and seems to work well so far. It's quite flexible (more so than I thought it would be), but since my scooter doesn't go faster than about 35 miles/hour, it's not a problem. The steel brackets that attach to the mirror posts are quite sturdy and fit perfectly, but the attachments from the mounting brackets to the windshield use plastic screws and nuts that I'll probably replace with stainless steel in future. I've noticed quite a pleasant reduction in the wind blowing on me, which is the reason I bought it. I'm pleased with the product and would have given it 5 stars except is seems a little pricy for what it is.

Looks good and it really moves the wind without slowing you down. Be careful when removing mirrors, one of mine was very rusty and stuck and I accidentally broke it while trying to remove it. I had to drill out the whole and re-thread it.

Perfect fit, very easy install

This thing works great. Install took 5 minutes. For the guy saying watch out he stripped his threads on his right mirror, it warns you of that in the directions. Some people just cant be bothered I guess. Anyways my chest and neck are toasty now regardless of outside temp. Great windshield

fit poorly and not for tall people

It's the best design of any of the scooter windshields I found to order and is an OEM Yamaha which looks the best on my Zuma I think. I adapted it to fit (very well) on my 2012 Zuma 50F with a couple 1x3" flat steel plates so it still bolts under the rear view mirrors. I think it looks great and riding with the wind buffer is SUCH a better experience. Well worth the $90 paid I have no doubt. One minor annoyance there is a white and blue sticker permanently attached to the front that talks about not using harsh cleaners to not scratch the plastic but to me having that sticker is unsightly. I was able to use a straight razor blade believe it or not to remove it minus the sticky film from the sticker which I used gaff tape to dab and pull away the left over glue from the sticker and as a result there's not a trace of the sticker having ever been there. Just a hassle to have to go through all that to get it off in the first place.
