The meter has a beautifully clear, large display with a backlight if needed. A fold out stand allows you to sit the meter upright on the workbench. I’m a DIYer and found this meter easy to use. It could do with longer leads but seems to work fine. Instructions are ok but it’s also easy to google to find out how to do certain readings

This is a good choice for the price. It has most of the functions you will need. Its still well built and strong. Unless you are after some special function like temperature or PH there is no need to spend more.

This is just amazingly good 😊It's easy to use, measuring well and the functions are excellent plus the display light and additional torch feature is superb, as is the mains voltage detection that's so useful finding hidden cables in walls and tracing live circuits.Amazon is great because one can search for something from actual product reviews.I needed a new meter after my old one broke, and was thinking about buying an expensive type as surely a 'cheap' meter would be a waste of money!??Reading the reviews of people who had bought the expensive ones though and been very disappointed, I decided to go low and check the reviews on the cheaper types which included this.Having read other opinions I decided to buy this one and am so pleased that I did.I'm about to order another one for help in my work fixing vintage gaming and arcade equipment, but just wanted to add to this review, praise for the meter and suggest also if you have any requirements for a meter, then buy and try this!I can certainly thoroughly recommend it 👍It may be a cheap meter but works incredibly well and didn't cost a fortune.A++++ to the manufacturer!A worthy addition to anyone's toolkit ✔️

Decent, cheap multimeter

Simple to use and has easy unique settings for checking common appliance batteries such as 1.5v and 9v. It has continuity testing and a non contact power detector for 240v home electrics allowing you in most cases to identify which way live wires run to/from switches and sockets within walls without invasive actions. Great value and functionality!

Works great, nice clear display with illumation. Bought it to test capacitors and it worked well. You have to hold it there for a few seconds for it recognise it and give the reading, once you understand how it works, it's great and build quality is good & solid.
