How does the remote control the puck lights? How to adjust it manually?

The light/lights come on white with the remote. Just point the remote towards the light you want to change and pick a setting and press it. There are three color settings manually. Press and click the lens on the light until desired color. With the remote you can choose the color, the brightness and You can also set the timer. Very easy to use. I am very happy with them.
