Glad I took the Chance
The moment I assembled the chair and sat down on it, I just melted. It is everything I needed for those long hours of working and sitting. The chair is very stylish and fit for a BOSS. Just make sure to find a nice chair cover, this will help the white stay white and clean. It was super easy to assemble. The chair itself is made of quality material and padding, its also adjust higher than normal office chairs for those that are tall. My brother is 6'7 230lbs and he was comfortable. It gets a 5-star review because this chair is nice, I went back to the seller to purchase another one, but they were all out :(. Holds very well if you are worried about weight, holds up to 400 lbs.

It’s developed a lean
UPDATE: (January 2022) This chair suddenly leaned to the side. One day it was fine. The arm rest cushions have become flat to almost flat. The chrome looking part that connects the armrests to the seat have cracked. (Plastic) But the biggest issue and surprise is the seat. It literally is broken. The chair no longer sits upright. We have it presently sitting in the corner leaning against the wall. Note: We are well under the weight and height limits. We simply love big, sturdy, comfy chairs for work and gaming. This is one comfy chair for the big and tall crowd. The seat is wide. The wheel base is sturdy. The materials are solid. Not high quality, but decent feeling. It didn’t take long to assemble. There were some issues with the bolt covers popping out. Child hazard so they were thrown away.

Comfortable, nice looking
I have been teaching from home because of the Covid situation and using my dining room as my "office". My dining chairs are uncomfortable after 4-6 hours a day and it was time to get a chair that offers more support and padding. I am about 5'10", 160 lbs.; this chair fits me well. The height adjustment works smoothly, and the tension for the backward tilt allows a bit of 'lean back' without feeing like one is going over backwards - or lock the tilt to sit up straight. For me, the arms are at just the right height and they flip-up if one needs to be a bit closer to the work surface. I think it feels just about as sturdy as my more expensive task chair at the school. I would rate this as a medium-duty chair, not for heavy or rough use but definitely not a lightweight cheap piece either. The instructions are almost completely graphic, but as assembly instructions go, they are better than many I have seen. I was able to do the assembly by myself, but it would likely have gone quicker with two people - especially getting the back connected to the seat. I really had no big problems. The white upholstery feels good and it looks good in my dining room for now. I will eventually use it in my smaller home office when I don't need access to my piano while teaching. It arrived a couple of days earlier than expected, which is another plus! All in all, this is a good purchase.

Poor Quality Desk Chair
UPDATE: a few months after my initial review, one of the bolts connecting the seat cushion to the chair back snapped in half. Without back support, the chair was essentially garbage, but I made do with it for a couple years, until I bought a Herman Miller Embody last November. Best purchase I evet made, only regret is waiting so long. Herman Miller and Sterlcase (among others) offer high-quality chairs that are reasonably priced when considering what you get, not to mention the lengthy warranties. Depending on budget, even their lower end chairs may be pricey, but if you catch a sale or don’t mind going refurbished, you can save a nice chunk of change. Bottom line: You get what you pay for. Don’t waste your time or money on this chair! ——————————————- I had just closed on a new home and was excited that I was finally going to have a dedicated office. The new desk wasn't going be available for awhile, but I purchased everything else that I could, including this desk chair. Assembly instructions were clear and set-up was basic. I had a some issues putting it together, as some of the pre-drilled holes were a slightly off. I was able to get it done, but it took a some doing. The chair looks great in my temp office set-up, and will look even better once I have my new desk. It's very comfortable, and the lumbar support feels great (took me awhile to get accustomed to it, as I was used to an old, dilapidated chair with zero support). My major complaint (and the reason for 3 stars), is it doen't sit level. At 1st I thought I assembled it incorrectly, but after further investigation I ascertained the issue is with the swivel mechanism. It sits at about a 10 degree slope and doesn't rotate level. If I sit in evenly with my back at the low or high point, it's not an issue. As soon as I swivel around though, I can feel the tilt and have to adjust the position of the legs. This is rather annoying. And if I lean back when I'm not sitting centered, chair will swivel to the left or right until it is centered, which is even more annoying. I thought about returning the chair, but I didn't want to hassle with disassembly and repackaging. And despite the slope, it looks nice and is very comfortable when I sit centered. At about $200, the chair was within my budget but I wished I would have opted to spend more for one that was (hopefully) designed/manufactured better.

Good sturdy chair for a big guy
I am quite happy with this chair. I am not the most obese guy, but sit 5'10" with weight that has fluctuated between 260 and 290. I would not work an 8 hour day in this chair without some breaks, but i find it plenty comfortable. I could see someone finding it too firm, but cushions are cheap, and I was shopping for a strong chair. The arm folding back are great for when I play guitar. Not sure I would recommend to someone shorter than me though. As I said I am 5'10" and sit at the lowest setting. My feet are able to be flat under me, but any shorter and they would barely touch or even dangle. I had zero assembly problems, and the mechanisms all appear to work great. The wheels included are no good on carpet, so i may eventually replace them or will buy a vinyl floor cover.

Assembly was pretty easy but you really need 2 people. It seems sturdy enough, but not as sturdy as REAL office chairs that I find at work over the years. Of course the real test will be how does it hold up. In 1 year if it is still basically the same as today, then I would bump it up 1 star and give the max points, relative to it's cost. Comfort: Again, pretty good but not stellar. It sits you up VERY straight and you cannot lean the back at all to a more comfortable angle. I am getting used to it. If you already have good posture it is probably OK. The rest of us have to learn to sit properly. =). Most chairs offer a back that can lean back a bit while keeping the seat flat. Small points off here. The pad on the bottom also doesn't seem as firm or thick as I expected. Still, it is comfortable and I can't really complain. I just had higher expectations. The chair is very wide and roomy. The seat is also quite deep for those of us who are tall as well as LORGE. The retractable arm rests are great since it is my work chair and recording/guitar chair. I can push them up and they are totally out of the way while I shred. Overall I am happy with the chair, but I expected to be blown away considering it cost over double what I have ever paid for a chair. I will update in 6 months. If it is holding up well, then the price is justified. One thing is for sure: I will have much better posture after a few months!!!
