Nice, flexible little amp
I'm using this hooked up to my desktop computer, and I've been happy with it.The Good:Very small, works well, has the features I want (headphone jack, sub out, optical + usb + analog in)The Bad:There's a single knob that it uses to control everything - volume, equalizer, input, output, etc. Thus it takes a few extra steps to, say, change from speakers to headphones or vice-versa, which is why I knocked a star off the "Volume Control" score.Other Notes:1: I haven't actually tried to compare sound quality between this and some of my other amps.2: I was getting a very soft clicking buzz in my headphones. The volume knob didn't affect it, and it wasn't always there. After some experimenting, my best guess is that it was some sort of interference coming through the power line that wasn't being filtered out by the power supply. Plugging the unit into a filtered power strip (a Rocketfish 8, if you must know) seems to have resolved the issue.

Excellent for the money
This makes an excellent speaker pre-amp and headphone amp for my Sennheiser HD 6xx headphones. It is hooked up to my mac mini via USB and I then have my speaker amp plugged into the pre-amp outputs on here. Delivers an excellent, clean sound. I am not a huge measurement person but apparently it is one of the best measuring DAC's in this price class. The headphone amp section is pretty good. It delivers clean power for my Sennheisers and gets plenty loud for me. It doesn’t have the last little bit of depth of something like the monoprice THX amp, but still sounds plenty good, more than satisfactory. It is great to be able to switch between speakers and headphones in the menus. My only real complaint with the unit is the knob is a bit crummy. It works fine, but its made of plastic and sometimes feels unsatisfying to turn. I imagine if I just don't abuse it it will last just fine.

Good for Audio Systems, Not So Much for Video Setups
I bought one of these to use on my video system, a little over a year ago. I have pro Genelec powered speakers, which I like better than any soundbar I've ever heard and I am not a fan of surround sound. The audio was coming out of my Sony 4k TV's headphone jack to the speakers' single-ended inputs. Over the years, I've noticed that the audio quality of movies and TV on streaming services has been getting rather muddy. I guess I'm not the only one. I've read many complaints from people about the increased difficulty hearing dialog. I hoped to improve this by connecting the optical output to the D30 and then going out of it to the speakers. I also connected the USB port to one of my computers, to use primarily as a headphone amp for music that I produced on that machine. All this worked well enough, but I didn't see as significant an improvement in the audio coming from the TV as I had hoped. One day, I had to listen to an audio CD and didn't want to bring it into the other room and start up my audio system, so I just popped the disc in my Sony blu-ray player and I was surprised by how good it sounded. Better than the TV audio from any source. Better than the Denon DCD-600NE that I purchased from Amazon a year ago, whether using the CD's DAC or the one in my Emotiva preamp. The Bluetooth was much better, too. (Faster connection, fewer dropouts, etc.) So, I decided to move the D30 to my stereo system and bought a Loxjie D40 for my video setup. (I posted a separate review for the D40. IMO, it is the better of the two, if you can afford it, and it has balanced outputs.)The real shocker was how much better the blu-ray player was than the Denon CD player. (Especially since I bought the blu-ray player a few years ago on Black Friday at less than half the price of the Denon). I've never been a fan of Denon products -- not those that I can afford, anyway -- whereas I am seldom disappointed by any Sony equipment, whatever the price point. (It is also worth noting that the sound quality of the content has more do with whether it sounds good than the devices that I have used to play it. Badly recorded audio is going to sound bad, no matter what you play it on.)

Great for USB output, awful for Bluetooth
After less than a year, Bluetooth audio started to crackle, and then stopped working entirely. Devices pair, but no audio is transmitted.Playing over USB works fine.

Nice piece of gear for desktop or main systems.
Used this in my 2 channel rig to bring my vintage integrated amp into the digital world. Needed the convenience of a remote and Bluetooth but didn’t want to sacrifice sound quality. I have two CD/transports plugged in this unit using - coaxial and optical. One is used for 2 channel layer of SACD and DVD-A’ s and the other player is redbook CD. Sound out of all inputs is very good even with BT using Amazon HD music. I find myself using the BT more due improved sound quality and convenience. USB driver install was easy. Build quality is excellent and looks good. in fact, I planned on hiding the unit but choose to sit It on top my amp out in the open. This little unit sounds excellent and made my life much easier. I highly recommended this!

SUPERB DAC. Preferred over the Topping DX3 Pro+ and it has MQA decoding.
VERY impressive offering from LOXJIE. It puts the Topping DX3 pro+ to shame with a more solid build, MQA decoding, and a full size headphone jack. It just sounds way better. Even the Bluetooth sounds and works better. I have a $500 SMSL 500 which is amazing in itself, and this comes pretty damn close. So a real bargain at the $200+/- level.

Worked amazing, but then it didn't?
I've had my D30 for less than a year. I used it daily as one of my main components for my audio chain. Tidal > D30 > THX AAA 789 > DT1990 PROs. I did have a few hiccups at first, but I got it sorted out eventually before returning it. Have been super happy with it, but as of two days ago since writing this review, the screen won't turn on anymore. I see it as a device on my computer, but it won't allow me to select it as an audio source. I've re-installed the driver and deleted the old one, reset PC, used the power and USB cable for power, but nothing has worked. Have contacted seller to go about the warranty process, but will keep trying to see if I can solve the issue at hand before then. Will update review once I either fix this issue or get a new unit to test.
