I have been using turmeric consistently for five years. I take it twice daily for fibromyalgia, inflammation, shoulder pain, and herniated discs. Over the years, I've tried several brands. In comparison, I believe that Himalaya is by far the purest, highest quality of ingredients. It's a reputable company who is trustworthy. I love that this brand of Himalaya turmeric is free from wheat, corn, soy, dairy, and that it's vegan. In 2008, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and herniated discs. After traditional medicine nearly killed me in 2010, (Beware of Cymbalta and Benzodiazepines), I made positive improvements with my overall health. I discovered that herbal medicine, plant-based foods, a clean diet, and natural alternatives significantly increased my quality of life. It's a game-changer! For those who want to decrease their pain levels and inflammation levels, I believe that taking 3 capsules of Himalaya turmeric twice daily works better than only 1-2 capsules daily. Of course, each of us are different and we may respond differently to turmeric. Do what works good for you. Sometimes, trial and error is necessary to see what's a good fit for you. I often find it difficult to leave reviews for supplements. even when they are effective, the results are usually subtle. Turmeric works over time, not rapidly like an NSAID, but much more gently and in harmony with your body. I like a few things about Himalaya. I like that its organic as I've read that non-organic turmeric can often contain toxins. I like that it is from a smaller independent company that has been doing this for years. I like the price point compared to some other products. And yes, I DO seem to notice a difference. I take it daily and definitely seem to have less feelings of pain or stiffness than I would otherwise. Himalaya chose not to include pepper for bio-availability but state that if you take this after having consumed some fat then it is bioavailable. So I make a point of having at least a little fat with my meal before taking. So far, so good, and have ordered this several times.
