Xbox Play USB Charging Kit for Xbox Series X

This is more conveinient that most other battery alternatives for the Xbox controller, i didnt want to have battery docks and all sorts of noncence so opted for the official battery that charges inside the controller, i used rechargable AA cells before which didnt last very long and of course the headache of having to swap them out, the Xbox battery solves this as you charge and go, or just top it up periodically. The battery life is modest, its about on par with rechargable AA cells which is fine, the only gripe i have is the battery rolloff voltage seems a bit steep, I start playing and the level is about 50% 30 minutes or so the controller just switches off, no prompt from the console that the level is low like using regular cells, if they manage to fix this with a software update i would call it a perfect solution, however the only work around to avoid mid game cutout is to ensure you have the batttery on charge when not in use or have the cable at hand in the event it cuts out, so in essence it solves most of the problems but created a new one. Xbox please make the console detect low power for this pack!!! Its the only thing which would make this a perfect solution.

Lasts for absolutely ages, comparable to the AA batteries I was using before. And it charges while inside the controller just by plugging it into a USB C charger (I use my samsung charger, but my PC works fine too). Can't recommend enough for the money, I can't fault the battery kit on anything, it works great and I haven't had to take it out since I bought it.

Easy to use and solid battery life. Just charge it with the USB-C port on the controller and that's it. Better than disposable batteries and more convienient over regular rechargeable AA batteries.

I originally voted this to a 3 star but i have since figured out my original problem so it can have 1 more but only one. I think Xbox charging icons etc are crap. On must things there is an charging indicatoir and it's really clear and either has a percentage showing during charging or a lightning bolt or even the battery filling up over and over. The xbox charge has a ... god knwow what you define as full or empty, it's not clear so when you are charging it its either one or the other and nothing to show its actually CHARGING. When it got full it bugged on me and although the battery was full it was turning itself off (didnt show the alternative charged image either) all the time but apparently you have to update the controller which although plugged in for hours on end after purchasing the XBOX X it didn't update or ask me at all. So its turning off and doesnt show that its charged its easy enough to think that it's faulty. I only fixed the problem when messing around with it on pc and adding via bluetooth that it shows are chaged battery next to it in the blue tooth devices menu so I managed to find out how to update the controller too and even as we speak im not quite sure of the final icon for what is fully charged controller. Get a charging icon and a percentage fgs the system cost half a grand!

Wish I knew about this sooner after all the time faffing about needing to charge AA battery's good to have a long cable to use when needed

A very good battery for an Xbox Controller, essential for long and intense gaming sessions without having the need to keep replacing and charging batteries, I reccomend buying a longer cable so it's easier to game and to charge up the controller at the same time with comfort, charge lasts a long time and quite fast in charging up, even when plugged into the Xbox,

this was one of the best things I bought and for a couple reasons! I am a plane lover and I love to play Microsoft flight simulator but my controller runs out of battery quickly especially because I do full flights which take over 1 hour! It only takes 4. Hours to charge and has a long lasting battery life. If you hate buying batteries because of them being expensive and they mostly aren’t reusable this is the thing for you. If charges even with the Xbox off just plus it in to the front or back and here it goes. It does the job to an incredibly high standard and this is an item you should definitely buy if you are an Xbox lover like me! Good job Xbox! Hopefully people will know how great this is and will be able to trust me if I get invited to become a vine member . DEFINITELY BUY

Necessitavo di una batteria ricaricabile per il mio controller (originale) X-Box. Questo prodotto offriva sia la batteria sia il cavo di ricarica (attenzione che non c'è lo spinotto, ma si può ricaricare attaccandolo direttamente alla console). Il cavo di ricarica si può attaccare direttamente al controller portando la possibilità di ricaricare il controller anche mentre si sta giocando. Questo rende possibile giocare ininterrottamente per ore e ore, e sicuramente permette di non perdere il filo mentre si gioca perché costretti a fermarsi per ricaricare il controller. Il cavo poi è sufficientemente lungo da poter arrivare alla console. La ricarica è veloce, sicura, affidabile. La durata della batteria, una volta ricaricata, permette di godere del gioco per anche una giornata o due a seconda dei ritmi di gioco. Inoltre la batteria ha una durata molto estesa proprio come prodotto in sé: è longeva, duratura e resistente. Dopo anni di utilizzo funziona ancora egregiamente. Probabilmente perché è evidentemente costruita con materiali di buona qualità. Anche il cavo è resistente e fa egregiamente il suo lavoro. Sono soddisfatto dell'acquisto di questo kit composto da batteria e cavo di ricarica per controller Xbox. Lo consiglio anche perché per l'ambiente è più salutare non usare continuamente batterie usa e getta, ma piuttosto queste ricaricabili che sono molto ecologiche. Lo consiglio!

La pila es muy buena, y es de buena duración, pero tiene algunos detalles como la falta de una clara situación de carga. Es difícil deducir cuando se ha cargado, y tiende a desconectarse a veces si no es colocada de forma óptima, llegas a pensar que no tiene pila, pero luego la mueves y sigue funcionando.

Update du 11/11/24 : je passe d’une étoile à 5 étoiles. Je ne sais pas pourquoi mais j’ai branché à une des entrées USB de derrière et non devant la console Xbox serie S et j’ai laissé non stop 4h de charge. Ça a fonctionné. Si c’est la seule raison, ça devrait être précisé, ça évitera de mauvais commentaires. J’avoue que je trouvais cela surprenant de la part de Microsoft. Maintenant reste à voir dans le temps si la batterie est de qualité (j’ai vu des commentaires à ce sujet). Ancien commentaire : Ça fait trois fois que je laisse la console allumé pour charger la batterie neuve. Ça ne fonctionne pas, toujours niveau faible affiché sur la console. Je vais finir par retourner le produit car une batterie neuve rechargeable qui ne se recharge pas… c’est une blague pas drôle ! Décidément je suis dans une mauvaise passe avec Amazon deuxième produit de mauvaise qualité. Mais il s’agit quand même de la marque Xbox de Microsoft, une grande marque qui vend de la mauvaise qualité en accessoire de console c’est assez surprenant ! Déçu…
