Firstly- I loved how easy it was opening the lock doesn’t require a key just requires a 3 digit combination. Secondly, the sturdiness and security of this lock are unmatched by other locks in this category. Thirdly, the length of this lock it’s not to big nor to small you can easily put in the code and access whatever your protecting. I personally used these for suitcases for my luggage when I was traveling its visibility and color were all good. Overall, this lock is definitely a go to now it doesn’t require a key just requires a short combination 5 stars!

Compact, reliable locks for travel peace of mind I picked up this 2-pack of Master Lock combination luggage locks for travel and they’ve quickly become a handy addition to my gear. They’re TSA-approved, which means I don’t have to worry about locks being cut off during baggage inspection—a real plus for anyone who checks bags frequently. Setting my own code was simple and took just a minute. Once set, the dials turn smoothly and line up cleanly, so I don’t have to squint or fiddle to get the lock open. In use, they feel solid enough for zippers, backpacks, and suitcases. They’re not heavy-duty locks (nothing that small is going to stand up to bolt cutters), but they’re more about deterrence and keeping honest people honest. For that role, they work well. I especially like the compact size—it slips right through zipper pulls without adding bulk, and the black finish looks sleek and unobtrusive. Having a pair in the pack also means I can secure both a main suitcase and a carry-on. If there’s a downside, it’s that the numbers are a little on the small side. In dim lighting or if you don’t have the best eyesight, it may take an extra second to line them up. Also, like any small combo lock, it’s best suited for bags and cases—not for securing anything truly valuable. These are cheap and a simple way to secure something. I think I've ordered a total of 6 of these now, out of those 6 I did get one that won't hold the set combination on the first number. These are fairly simple to get open without knowing the combination, but they can still serve as a deterrent.

I wanted locks to put on my luggage to minimize snooping by hotel cleaning staff, and make it more unlikely something in my bag to mysteriously disappear. I don't care about these locks NOT being TSA approved, since I almost always carry on my bags. Actually, I DON'T WANT TSA approved locks... and here's why... I saw many youtube videos showing how simple it is to open TSA approved locks... with some simple devices, that you can buy on ebay, a TSA approved lock can be opened in SECONDS... a seasoned thief or snoop will likely own these tools.... at least with these locks, they can't be opened "quickly", unless they break them... and in that case, I know someone has been in my bag (which is what I want to know)..... The entire lock is METAL, and has a solid weight. They would be difficult to pull open. You'd likely need a good set of pliers. yes, with 20 or 30 minutes, maybe you could scroll through 999 combinations, but a snoop isn't likely to do that.. they want to get in and out quickly. Obviously these are not going to stop anyone from TAKING your bag, or cutting it open and taking things inside.... I was only interested in the sneaky thief that might take small item hoping you won't notice it until you return home. I played around with these to see if it was obvious or easy to pull on the shackle to figure out the correct combination numbers... on that front, they seem well designed. I then changed the default combination. VERY easy to do, just turn the unlocked shackle 45 degrees, ando PUSH the shackle IN.... quite firmly till it stops... then while holding in the shackle, change the rotary numbers to whatever you like. Release the shackle, and you have a new combination. You can change the combination as many times as you want, to anything you want. I suggest you not use 1-2-3 :-)

These combination locks were super affordable and came with two locks, which I was very happy about! I started going back to the gym recently but I was out of a lock, and I was afraid I would have to purchase one of those master locks with a large dial on it (which I have a hard time opening sometimes) or the ones with a key, and I'd lose the key somewhere at the gym. These locks are super compact and you can set your own combination. Although these are less secure because of how small they are, and there are only 3* 0-9 digit combinations that you can set it as, I highly doubt anyone at the gym would sit there and try all the combinations. Anyway, I'm really glad that comes with two so I can give one to my co worker who also goes to the gym with me. It was also very easy to set up the combination the first time. One thing I do not like is that it is difficult to turn the dial sometimes.

If this is your first time using a combination lock like this(which is my first time),make sure you read the instructions carefully to ensure the lock function properly. The ease and quality of this lock is recommended for anyone who doesn’t want to use keys to lock and unlock their locks.

Functionally is easy and straightforward. Only gripe I have is that the numbers are a bit difficult to see in a well lit and bright environment. Would be better if the dials weren’t as shiny or of the numbers were red. Other than that, they work well.

Bought these to use on my luggage for travel overseas. The locks are durable and easy to set up. They were mainly used in my hotel room as a deterrent since we were going from hotel to hotel and didn't want to unpack every time. If TSA wants to get into your luggage, there isn't a lock they can't get through. So that being said I like the locks as they gave me a sense of security and at an excellent price.

Strong solid lock but smaller than I anticipated. Spent work for the application I needed it for but that’s my issue. Good got a bag lock or something small

Hace algún tiempo tuve este mismo candado y lamentablemente lo extravié. Pero el servicio que me dió durante varios años fué excelente. Ahora tuve oportunidad de recuperarlo y a buen precio.Es un candado de pequeñas dimensiones pero de buena calidad de materiales. Sus discos de combinación giran sin ninguna traba. Cuando se acomodan los tres numeros de la combinación el bastago abre sin atorarse, libremente.

Lo use en mis maletas de viaje y todo súper bien, hay que leer bien las instrucciones para poner la contraseña pero muy bien el tamaño y la practicidad
