At first, I wasn't impressed with this garment out of the box, I tried in on and immediately noticed the forearm pads were to long which made the shirt feel uncomfortably awkward. After committing to giving this shirt a chance, because there is not much to choose from in this weight class. I went ahead and trimmed down the forearm pads which are made of very similar material used in soccer shin guards which also need to be cut to length. Shortening the forearm pads made the shirt fit more comfortably. I used the shirt on a ride with only a T-shirt under it, found it to be very cool and comfortable. Note: I did removed the thick back padding, it made the shirt a bit tight on me. You might want to get the next size up for yourself! Good luck...

I get so hot in my motorcycle jacket. Sometimes I just wear a shirt, but I know I can get hurt if there's the smallest crash.This is a great option. It's just a net which holds the protectors in place. Then I put a shirt over it and I'm light as a feather.It is long sleeve, which I can understand because it has elbow protectors which come all the way forward. So I just wear a long sleeve shirt. Perfect

So this thing is amazing for hot summer days! Prior to having it I was only wearing a tee shirt because it was 90 degrees outside and I was still sweating bullets dying on my way to work but! Today it was 90 I wore a wife beater then this shirt and an armor vest over and omg the ride was amazing! I could finally breathe and be comfortable!The only thing I would say not to do is go a size up. I listened when ppl told be that since I’m an xl in my regular shirts I should do xxl but now I wish I would have gone with an xl just so it can be more secure and snug to my body. But it will have to do! Buy this but also wear a vest cuz the shirt alone won’t save ur life in a crash

Pros:- Price. Does not cost $160- Will reduce the impact on your pointy parts- As well vented as you can get- Not as awful to get off as my (other company)Cons:- Does not offer abrasion resistance other than the pads- Pads float a bit, but better than my other protective gear.I have a Covec shirt, or a highly contrasting moto jersey, I pull over this and I am done. ‘Nuff said.

I'm 5'11" 178 lbs. I ordered the large. I like the fit. The armor is not too bulky. I like the very firm vertical spine pad. Light weight and much cooler than my icon summer jacket. Not sure of the crash protection, hopefully I won't test that but it better than squidin'. Gives me some jacket options for cold weather. BTW it arrived early.

This is the second time I've purchased this armored shirt. It's comfortable in summer, fits great, and wears well. I haven't fallen off a bike with it on and, I hope to never need to find out how protective it can be.

I really like this shirt. I think they could add in chest protection and it would be even better.

For $50 don’t hesitate.
