Bar's Leaks Jack Oil with Stop Leak - 12.5 oz

I wish I'd had some of this on hand before I found out my trolly jack wasn't working right. After watching the required YouTube videos, I filled and bled my jack and it's working perfect. One thing to be aware of is that they changed to design of the red cap. It used to have a smaller filler neck inside the red cap. Now the red cap folds back to reveal about a 1/4" mouth that will make filling a messy process. Luckily I had a small squeeze bottle that I was able to fill, and then pour into the filler hole, with no mess, just repetitions due to it's capacity. In addition I decided to check an old bottle jack I had, and lucky I did. It's a 20 ton model and I ended up using half of the bottle to get it full again. After bleeding I used both jacks on my car and had no bleed off after an hour, I'd say this stuff saved the day.

I pick up jacks at yard sales for dirt cheap that somebody has overloaded and it pushed fluid past the ram. So they think it doesn’t work anymore. I just top it off with this stuff and bam, brand new jack

it's hydraulic oil. . . what else can i say? My bottle arrive missing the red plastic cap, so i've subtract one star. I will pour the oil into a 12oz condiment squirt bottle which has a cap. cheers.
