I love this heated under blanket because it is so warm heats up very quickly and has separate functions for your body and your feet which is fantastic for my restless leg syndrome and my fibromyalgia it is very very easy to use and understand it is very padded and comfortable to sleep on and almost has a quilted texture you cannot feel the wires in the blanket at all the timer function is especially useful I can put my blanket on set it to the heat that I want and the part of the body that I want it goes from one to nine on the heat settings for each part of the body the main tour so and legs and a separate one for your feet the time of function is fantastic because I can put it on within 10 minutes it's lovely and warm and I can go to sleep knowing that I won't overheat I won't waste electricity or get too hot and it will turn itself off even if I fall asleep which is invaluable the time I goes from one hour to two hours to all night and it was fantastic value for money I highly recommend this I use it every night because my feet get cold and I struggle to get them warm again I struggle to do a hot water bottle my partner has to do that otherwise I'll burn myself so having this I don't have to rely on him and anica will hot water bottle I can warm my feet as well as my body at the same time I highly recommend this to help with pain management as well why I never invested in one of these sooner I have no idea but I'm so glad I have now

Bought this during a recent cold snap. It had always bothered me when getting into bed when outside temps had plummeted that my sheets were cold. Admittedly, my circulation isn’t always great.It was a grateful me who slithered into bed with this setup at setting 4 for the body section and 3 for the feet area.As I have a chunky duvet, laying there for about 10 minutes allowed both me and the bedding to gently thaw out and all bedding was truly comfortably warm with 15 - 20 minutes. This really aids sleep in those sorts of temps too like it relaxes the body. Personally, I don’t need to set this to the higher settings (it goes up to 9 in both areas with separate controllers for both sides of the bed).Controller easy to use and I’m now using the blanket to warm the bed before I get in often. I find the 1 hour setting enables me to warm everything up and then I don’t need it on throughout the night. Again, the controller gives further time options and you could have it on all night if you so wish.When turning the blanket on I click the switch off first as I usually forget to do this when I awake (when timer finishes the previous night, the manual on/off is still in on position but the timer has cut the power itself). When I click switch to off I await the display flickering red and then turn manual power on and set temps and times again. Not a faff for me. I personally wouldn’t want to pop this on a smart power point as some nights I don’t want it on as bed bedding gets too stuffy so I prefer the manual tinkering.When sleeping I clearly turn over on occasion and the blanket does slip a bit to one side over the course of a about a week or sometimes a few weeks. The straps that go underneath the mattress don’t hold it super firmly but firmly enough for me. This would depend on mattress type and fit anyhow. Not an issue for me really it’s pretty easy to adjust this by me gently tugging the blanket back into position every week or so when I change sheets.It seems very well constructed, safe and comfy and I’m definitely happy I went with this purchase.

The blanket serves its main purpose very effectively. It is clearly differentiated into two halves so that couples can have different temperatures from each other as well as differences in foot and body area temperatures. Warms up quite quickly (an hour to an hour and a half, we find).The quirks concern the controls. It came as a surprise that these have to be set each night as the chosen levels are not retained in any form of memory. Moreover, the first two options for duration jump from one hour to five hours, with nothing in between. We set ours for five hours but then have to remember to switch off once we get into bed. Just seems bizarre that there is no two hour option, for example. Perhaps, other models have more sophisticated setting devices.Important to emphasise that the above are quirks and that the blanket itself is a great asset.

I am a stroke patient with my right side side totally paralyzed and I do suffer with extensive pain and aches because I had lower spine fractures and the surgery helped to put it back in place but the chronic pains another issue for which I need to have a bed warmer for the last over 15 years and I am not settled with just the pain medication I need my bed warm and cosy I always had to have a warmer under blanket after having used all kinds of under warmer blanket majority are warm to it's full size why I grade this one five stars because I can adjust the body or and the feet ends control separately to my comfort level I broke my ankle and the knee at the young age motor bike crashes now this under warmer gives me excellent option to adjust the heating for the areas where I need it warm and cosy where I need most for my pain medication I had been on the opioids and being a doctor myself I understand I can't take too much of the opioids for their addiction and tolerance I can now manage with just very small amount of opioids and paracetamol with the help of this excellent under warmer blanket I found it working perfectly to my needs and I am more than happy to recommend it for all who suffer any kinds of pain anywhere manageable with just the simple paracetamol only, buy with confidence and you will never regret to have spend this blanket at the reasonable price tag.Dr Hameed Faheem

Bought the dual control double bed standard size model NOT the single control one. Very good quality fleece cover. Be aware it does not cover the whole surface of the bed (size is given on the Amazon page) but it's the same as the Morphy Richards one it replaced and is not a problem for us. It is held in position by elasticated straps that pass under the mattress and has not moved at all during the month or so we've been using it. It has heat settings from 1 to 9 and you can have different heat settings for feet and body areas if you want. I only ever go up to 5 then turn it down to 1 or 2 once the chill has been taken off the bed. We use the timer option which turns it off after 1 hour but there are settings that allow longer times. It has a 2 year quarantee and I'm really happy with it so far.

I’ve had this electric blanket since December & think it’s brilliant! It doesn’t rumple up as it’s held firmly in place by elasticated ties which fits over the 4 corners of the mattress. It’s soft to lie on & you can’t really feel the wires. What I like about it is, it has 2 separate controls with own mains plugs, which means you don’t have to have the whole king sized bed heated only the side you’re sleeping on. Another advantage in my husband’s case is he doesn’t like the whole area on his side warmed up, but does like his feet warm so the feet only setting is great! Also you don’t have to worry about falling asleep with it on, as you can set it from 1hr right up to 12hrs & it switches itself off. I must admit I’m a cold mortal & often get in bed freezing & leave it on for a few hours, but it always turns itself off at my allotted time. In my opinion it’s excellent & well worth the money.!

Very pleased with this. The controls are easy to work, and well laid out so you can manage them in the dark if you need to. I love having separate foot and body heat controls. The blanket is robust and lies flat. It has a zip-off cover that you can wash. The cable attaches without an uncomfortable lump. The only (minor) downside is that when you first turn it on it defaults to full power, so you have to turn it down to the setting you want, rather than getting the last previous setting.

This blanket arrived with a warning that it CANNOT be left on all night despite it being marketed on Amazon as safe to do soI bought it because I wanted all night heat so I now have the inconvenience of sending it back

Some prefer the over blanket others like me prefer the under blanket. I change blankets after 6 years use, same make this is my 4th. Actually I have used under heating for over 50 years in those days it was just for warming the bed switching off before entering the bed. I worked 3 shifts system for 35 years and getting into a warm bed on a cold morning was paramount to me getting to sleep more so as I had cold feet. Actually things haven't changed much since as we only use them for warming the bed we have efficient duvet to keep us warm all night, plus the fact my wife fidgets and an over blanket would be all over the place. But as a electrical blanket this make is unbeatable. I'm a retired engineer now 87 but still enjoying the luxury of a safe fabulous blanket. Highly recommended. Also well-done Amazon during the many years I have purchased from UK and DE over 400 items and only 1 problem quickly solved.
