The Absolute Best Budget Upgrade for AM4—Incredible Price to Performance
If you are still running an older 1000, 2000, or 3000-series Ryzen chip on the AM4 platform, buying the Ryzen 5 5600X is an absolute no-brainer. With market prices dropping significantly below its original launch MSRP, the sheer value you get out of this 6-core, 12-thread powerhouse makes it the ultimate budget gaming upgrade. Performance & Thermals (10/10) Massive Gaming Uplift: Upgrading to the Zen 3 architecture provides a massive boost in frame rates, particularly in high-refresh-rate esports titles and CPU-intensive shooters. Single-core performance is incredibly sharp, meaning smoother minimum frame rates and virtually no micro-stuttering. Insane Power Efficiency: Running at a modest 65W TDP, this processor delivers elite gaming performance without turning your PC into a space heater. It stays incredibly cool even under heavy loads, meaning you don't need a massive, expensive liquid cooler to get the most out of it. Seamless Platform Compatibility AM4 Lives On: The best part about this chip is the savings on the motherboard. It slotted perfectly into my existing B450 board after a quick BIOS update. Being able to drop a modern, high-performance CPU into an older motherboard without needing to buy new DDR5 RAM saves a massive amount of cash. A Quick Word on Setup Check Your BIOS First: If you are upgrading an older AM4 motherboard, make sure you flash your BIOS to the latest version before pulling out your old CPU, otherwise the motherboard won't recognize the 5000-series chip. The Stock Cooler: It comes bundled with the AMD Wraith Stealth cooler. It is perfectly fine for basic desktop use and casual gaming, but if you want to utilize Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO) or prefer a completely silent build, dropping $20 on a basic aftermarket tower cooler is well worth it. The Verdict You don't need to spend a fortune on a completely new platform to get elite desktop performance. At its current low price, the Ryzen 5 5600X is a spectacular budget champion that breathes massive new life into the reliable AM4 socket. Pros: Incredible price-to-performance ratio Highly efficient 65W power consumption running cool and quiet Massive IPC and frame rate gains over older Ryzen generations Includes a bundled thermal solution in the box Cons: The bundled Wraith Stealth cooler runs a bit warm under heavy multi-threaded stress loads No integrated graphics (requires a discrete graphics card)

Won't need to upgrade for years!
Amazing value, great performance.

A great CPU when you pair it right
I don't fully know technology however it is what it is, it's a fast CPU that I paired with a Radeon RX 7700XT which work perfect together. Like normally, it's an easy CPU to put in with the heatsink. The heatsink provided works great, but I used a larger heatsink with two fans instead. You can play most modern games at Ultra settings 1080p at 100fps, or 60fps at 4K with a good GPU pair. It can pull very little power when not in full load, and does pull upwards of 65W when at ~90% usage. Great CPU for the price.

Good CPU with BAD stock cooler
I love this CPU so much, the performance is great, super easy to assemble, provides really good graphics and very power efficient. However, I nust say that the CPU Stock cooler is really BAD. It has started to make some weird noises just after a few days that's why I'm upgrading to an AIO cooler instead. Overall, it's worth it.

Ryzen 5 5600X Transformed Son's Gaming from i5-4690K Bottleneck
Got this Ryzen 5 5600X for my son's PC upgrade from his old i5-4690K, he was CPU-bound in a few games. Plugged into his new AM4 board, and it's transformed everything: smooth 1440p gaming now, no more CPU bottlenecks in CPU-heavy stuff like Star Citizen, No Man's Sky. 6 cores/12 threads fly along at stock speeds, cooler than expected too at 65W. Game-changer for the price, son's thrilled with the performance jump. 5 stars!

Ryzen 5600x 6 cores 12 Threads Base Clock of 3.7GHz Max. Boost Clock Up to 4.6GHz Launch Date: 11/5/2020 CPU Socket: AM4 Default TDP: 65W This 6-core GPU has enough horsepower to power all the games you want ( with the right GPU of course) in 1080p 1440p and even 4k. I use this as my daily driver for Gaming and Editing with an RTX 2070s on a 144hz 32'' 1080p display. full PC Specs: Ryzen 5 5600x Asrock B550 Extreme 4 32GB 3600 Crucial Ballistix 1TB Sabrent Rocket 4.0 1TB Silicon Power a80 Palit RTX 2070s Cooled with an EK custom loop. Most titles I play are Warzone, Forza Horizon 4 and 5, Modern Warfare 2, Halo Infinite, GRID Legends, F1 2022, Apex Legends and Fortnite. The system can play all the above-mentioned titles at 1080p High settings and hit 100 fps and higher without breaking a sweat. Divinci Resolve is super quick for editing and rendering and overall the system is super fast, very responsive and gaming performance is outstanding! just need to get a 1440p monitor of my own but testing a 1440p monitor for my youtube channel the gaming performance was very playable. I hope this helps Jezy

Great value
I have been looking for this CPU for a while and decided to finally take the plunge to purchase. Delivery was quick and this CPU was very easy to install and the benefit of this retail model was the inclusion of a fan. The fan inclusion saved me some $$ to be used on other upgrades (granted not a huge saving). Running this on a Win10 Home edition build and currently no issues, solid thus far. The CPU also included TPM which almost all Win-based modern CPU should have, (I upgraded from a 4th generation Intel based CPU - which did not have TPM) this is a key requirement for Win 11 (and yes you can get a separate TPM module for legacy systems to upgrade to Win 11). Overall very happy with this CPU

Başarılı Ürün Teşekkürler
Başta çekinceliydim, zira AMD işlemcileri hele ki biraz eski ise orijinal bulmak çok zor, neyseki ürün tarafıma kutulu ve ambalajlı şekilde gönderildi, buradan Delfin Bilişim'e teşekkürlerimi iletiyorum, telefon üzerinden arayıp sorularıma nazik ve kibarca cevap verdi ilgili yetkili beyfendi, bu devirde bunlar bile zor bulunan şeyler...Ürünü MSİ B550 PRO anakartıma taktım ve yine MSİ 3060 Tİ ekran kartımda herhangi sorun olmadan 2K oyun oynuyor ve kullanabiliyorum, teşekkürler Delfin Bilişim ve Amazon.
