The Daily Plan Book for Preschool

This is a great planner and it the second year I have ordered it

This plan book is okay. On the left page, there's space for you to write out your daily schedule to the left of the planning page, spaces for Monday-Friday plans, and a notes section. The right page is for you to make changes to your learning environment.I won't be ordering it next year and now type my daily plans stapling them to the planning page side weekly. What I don't like:*I wish it had an attendance record but it does not.*There is not a lot of space for plans, boxes are small. Hard to add fingerplays/songs, or additional information.*The environmental changes page is preset & does not match my environment (wish this was blank so we could fill them in)*There is so much space on the environmental changes side of the book that I don't use. Typically I write here item(s) I'm adding to an interest area, rotating out, which doesn't take a lot of space but there are these gigantic boxes (waste of space) so with lots of whiteout I've modified it to include the songs/fingerplays/parent involvement/notes/to do list/reminders I need. I've just whited out the words in boxes I don't use to make space for these things.

Great guidelines and pages with plenty of space to fill in all you need to keep track of your days and info!

I've used this same planner in the past and loved it! Plenty of room to make notes and I love the sections on the right side of the page where you can list several activities for the week in different categories like "music and movement" because I can see how all my lesson plans work together to reinforce the theme of the week. The left side of the page has room for detailed timing of activities so I can stay on track throughout the day!
